Seems to be getting priced into the Ohio futures contracts, also. They now have Bush favored around 60/40 over Kerry
Early exit polls (not worth 2 cents but interesting) AZ CO LA PA OH FL MI NM MN WI IA NH Kerry 45 48 42 60 52 51 51 50 58 52 49 57 Bush 55 51 57 40 48 48 47 48 40 43 49 41 www.mydd.com per VNS
A friend works for RNC here in Columbus. She even asked about the 10% and was told the 10% was people who didn't answer. One of my Partners helped lead the Reagan campaigns here in town and he told me about the media, campaigns and big donors knowing by noon what is happening in Key precints east of the Miss. River and said to listne to Rush and look to see what Judy wears and how she acts.
I don't think he's making it up. I was just curious where it was from. I wouldn't be surprised if Ohio went to Bush by that margin. IIRC, the GOP's got one of their better ground operations there.
Rush has no friends. He buys that data from Zogby and others like most of the news outlets. http://www.zogby.com/
Wow. Thanks for the link. Very early, so you're right it's not reliable, but if this holds Kerry has the biggest mandate since Reagan.
Just did my part in the sticks of Richmond, deep in Fort Bend County. No lines whatsoever. I feel good.
I pray that the vote I cast today in the Great Swing State of Florida will be the one to push GWB over the edge and we get to hear even more wailing and gnashing of teeth from the Left. I can hardly wait. By the way folks, Florida is a fine place, even if there are far too many people driving 20 mph slower than the speed limit in the fast lane on I-4 and oldsters who think Rascal scooters are street-legal vehicles.
I just voted. Door to door it took me 10 minutes max. No line. I spent probably 30 seconds inside the booth. Straight ticket Republican, voted on a couple referendums, checked to make sure Bush was highlighted, and hit the Cast Ballot button. Very simple.
I have been hearing from friends that voted here in Houston during the mid-day (11AM-1PM) that there were no lines and no wait to vote.
Now reports are saying these ntl. numbers are 59% female, 41% male. Explains alot of the differences (in Ohio pre-elections polls said 53% of males prefer Bush, 53% of females prefer Kerry) Come on men - go vote!
Devastated? LOL. I predicted a Kerry win with Bush taking Ohio, so I could hardly be devastated by Bush taking Ohio. I wasn't jubilant about the early exits either and I said they weren't reliable. I was, however, jubilant walking out of the polls in PA fifteen minutes ago. I freaking love voting.
Senate races: Thune +4 Castor +3 Burr +6 Bunning +6 Coburn +6 Demint +4 Salazar +4 www.drudgereport.com I can't believe Coburn and Bunning are still up...there sure are some loyal Republicans out there.
