Well this doesn’t mean much but my 2 cents, I do remember back in collage in and around 96 some of my bull fanatic roomies were watching the game and cursing at sura, about his dirty play on their ever humble grace MJ, I recall this nicely as its was music to my ears…. , I never quite watched the bulls with them as its was 4 bulls and one rocket myself, and on top of that I was with a attitude ‘what’s the point of watching the bulls there going to win anyways’ . Well to my part even if it didn’t happen as RD narrated I like it and ……..hmmm maybe plausible, we should get this to the myth busters.

regardless of whether Bobby Sura is a mythical Rambo-like legend, or an old arthritic man with blown up knees, the reality is that Casey Jacobson sucks and he has no place on this team.

"The guy hasn't played well in the games, but was good in practice"??? Am I supposed to get excited? Sure, all we need is a guy who chokes up in PRESEASON games. Let's move on and not fret over Casey effing Jacobsen being cut.

 

Casey sucks and Sura beats him out of the team with a injured knee. Nuff said.

 

I am very sad to see so many people here blast me like this, and some even going so far as to say I am some crazy loon and some person that goes around stalking message boards.


Anyways, this incident happened and nothing any doubter, rude person, immature person, or anal retentive freak said is going to change that.

Sura has had 18 months, and I think that is about the rehab time for Microfracture surgery, lots of players have come back from it to be productive....let's hope Bobby can too.

Sura, who was forced to the locker room bleeding from the mouth
early in the fourth quarter, collected 15 points, 10 rebounds
and 11 assists. He reached the milestone when he pulled down
his 10th rebound with 10:23 remaining.

"I've been close a few times in my career and to get them
back-to-back feels pretty good," said Sura, who joined New
Jersey's Jason Kidd and Dallas' Antoine Walker as the only
players with consecutive triple-doubles this season. "I'm
excited about the way I've been playing. I feel fortunate for
the opportunity here (in Atlanta) to get out there and play."

With just over nine minutes to play, Sura was accidentally hit
in the mouth, a blow that required stitches to his lip. He
returned to the bench but with the Hawks holding a comfortable
lead, did not re-enter the game.

"Bob Sura has been instrumental in how we've been playing,"
Hawks guard Jason Terry said. "He has tremendous heart and he's
a fierce competitor. He's the type of guy you want to see when
you're going to war (on the court)."

When Sura walked back on the court with 2:51 to go, he received
a standing ovation from the crowd.

"That gave me some chills out there," Sura said. "I go out
there and lay it on the line every night for my team and for the
fans and to get that kind of respect, I appreciate that."
