A few random comments: The 'champion' guy does some of his interviews in what appears to be the kitchen of a fast food joint. Maybe he spent too much time on games? Judging from the trailer, this makes me think 'what if Michael Moore did a documentary on something non-polarizing...in the grand scheme of things meaningless....like video games?' I will definitely catch this when it comes out. Anything video game related will get my attention. Maybe this will be like a real-life version of the classic movie 'The Wizard', starring Fred Savage.
Wait, so is this a documentary or a mockumentary? I can't tell if they are serious. Edit: How cool is it that by simply playing Grieg's In the Hall of the Mountain King you can make even the silliest, nerdiest of premises sound ****ing awesome?
It is a documentary about the guy (Billy) who owns several high scores on classic arcade games, and another guy (Steve) who is trying to beat his score at Donkey Kong. The movie is going to be limited release and so far Austin is the closest place you'll be able to see it. Also, if you are interested in seeing it, do not go to wikipedia because some of the articles on the movie and these two guys give some details about the outcome. According to Wiki the one guy actually owns a chain of restaurants called Rickey's in California. So he isn't a fry cook or the manager of the fry cooks; he is the owner of the fry cooks
