Thought I'd start this since it's less than an hour. Big news on NFL Network just now... Browns got the 3rd overall pick. They traded away to the Vikings their 4th overall pick, 4th, 5th, and 7th of this year's draft.
Vikings got other teams GM's calling asking about trading up to spot #3 so they told Cleveland gives us few extra picks or we are going to accept this other teams offer
Were the Vikings considering drafting Richardson? Nope, they were looking at M.Claiborne, M.Kalil and J.Blackmon I believe.
1. Indianapolis - QB A.Luck 2. Washington - QB R.Griffin 3. Cleveland - RB T.Richardson 4. Minnesota - T M.Kalil 5. Jacksonville - WR J.Blackmon 6. Dallas - CB M.Claiborne 7. Tampa Bay - S M.Barron
Something just happened there, ha. Jags get 5th overall pick(WR J.Blackmon) Bucs get 7th overall & a 4th(101)
Cowboys get 6th overall Rams get 14th overall, 2nd round pick(45) Cowboys going Claiborne it sounds like. Bucs to take S Barron according to Schefter.
Damn, supposedly Fisher wanted to stockpile picks and create a beast team by 2013, and here's the first step.
I agree. I think all of these teams could have gotten a little more. Teams have clear cut targets of who they want and they should have to pony up if they really want to get them.
