The End is one of my favorite songs, but I can see how many people might not like it.

But to put The Sounds of Silence on this list just seems to make the whole list a sham to me.

I like these songs, they each capture a moment in time for me

any list that doesn't include Kenny G, CREED or Backstreet Boys on a worst list is worthless

Where is "Heartbeat" by Don Johnson?

"Uptown Girl" is worse than "We Didn't Start The Fire" by Billy Joel. I hate every Billy Joel song ever though. i wish someone would light him on fire.

I think this list says more about the people who compiled it than it does about the songs themselves.

A list like this is doomed from the start.

    I like these songs:

    21. Two Princes, Spin Doctors, 1992

    29. Breakfast At Tiffany's, Deep Blue Something, 1995

    31. Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm, Crash Test Dummies, 1994

I assume Starship took number one as much by virtue of having never should have existed as a band as much as the song's incredible corporate suckiness.

I would REALLY have liked to have seen "Bodies" by Drowning Pool on this list. "Let the bodies hit the floor?" how 'bout not.

I like all of these songs. How in the world does Starship, an actual decent band have the world's worst song whereas "artists" like Creed, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Jessica Simpson etc do not even have one single f*cking entry on the list??!!

    I call BS on this.

Oh and any list that would have Simon and Garfunkel over the damn Macarena is a freaking joke! Also, glad to see that the Spice Girls made the list. ;)

I will agree on numbers 2,5,7,13,15,16,31,36,and 39 as craptastic.

There are no songs by Britney Spears on the list.

There are no songs by Creed on the list.

There is one Limp Bizkit song.

    No songs by Kid Rock.

Don Johnson? Not on the list.

I know that song is on there to prove the people who made the list actually know music existed before Nirvana - but still . . .

Er, correction - most overplayed song but not one of the worst. Oh, I forgot, you are one of those people that think Zeppelin sucks. I think I have met 2 other people like you in the whole world that feels that way.:p

This quote will forevermore be posted in every single music thread you start.

Other than Ob-la-di, those songs are all pretty crappy.

Thanks for reminding me of the comedy-of-assclownishness that was Color Me Badd.
