The Rap Nowadays thread reminded me to check for some new K-rino as he comes out with cds every few months. It's his third or fourth in the past year, the man's output is extraordinary. Props to the H-town Legend. Y'all grab a copy of his cd, and support the SPC a staple in Houston. They haven't changed much for 20 years, so we should all try and support that even if small. He continues to give us songs with abstract concepts, definitely outside the box, like a homeless man trying to change his life. Been a K-Rino fan for a while (I was a little late to the train though) but haven't checked this one out yet. Been meaning to pick it up.
People dont realize that Chamillionaire and Zro wouldn't be the rappers they are without Rino's influence. I've read that Scarface considers him the most lyrical rapper hailing from Houston.
