I'll go out on a limb and say I think if healthy he canbe better than Rip Hamilton (prime). Yeah that's a big statement but Rip didn't get to the line like Kevin. And RIp played even less D. I actually think Kevin's D is adequate.

He looks in good form. Am expecting great things from our versatile backcourt.

Ray Allen can drive the ball very well, you would discern it if you have ever watched him playing

I liked the fact he got all his points in the flow of the offense and didn't have to dominate the ball to get them.

I believe the word is could...not can ;)

Allen's unwillingness to take fouls is my peeve with Allen (there were like 4 3 point attempts in game 7 where kobe/artest/fisher just go flailing across him where all he had to do was lean in pierce style and 3 free throws).

Umm, Kevin Martin is already BETTER than Hamilton. If Hamilton didn't have the championship glow that gets reflected on every player that gets a ring, he wouldn't be so overhyped.

Rip is basically a less-FT-shooting/less-range version of Martin. Granted, healthier, but nonetheless less of a ball player. Now, the only problem for the Rockets is that we lack Billups/Prince/Wallaces to complement Martin.

Brooks actually compares pretty well with a younger Billups. Granted, he isn't as good of a defender, but they are both high-efficiency, score-first point guards with great three point range.

I see Kevin Martin playing better than this. He played good last night you can tell he has been working. I feel that he knows he's good so much to the point he shoots with too much confidence causing him to get out of his relaxed zone. When he finds his zone and the team gets the chemistry back Martin and Brooks will be looking really really great.
