Messi once again schooling goalkeepers and popping shots between their legs. Might as well be females.

    Foca Barca.

    **** Rooney.

Either Barca or Bayern will win the Champions League. Not surprising, as the teams are almost the same as the Spanish and German national teams (with some added power, like Dani Alves on Barca's side, and Ribery and Robben on Bayern's side), which have been the dominating teams on the international stage for years.

Dayum, didn't know there's a thread about the league action.

Right now I only see Barca and Bayern as contenders but never count out Madrid, I'm sure they'll get a grip in the next months.

Yeah, I noticed that too when I started watching Bayern, makes rooting for Germany easier when you actually know the players.

i actually like dortmund more than bayern from germany... they won the german league last year and have some really good players in goetze, kagawa, and a really organized defense

Last year, yes, this year, no...the Bayern players were unfocused after the world cup. The Bundesliga has figured Dortmund out to some extent.

I hope Goetze will join Bayern at some point in the next few years...he is a mega talent. Kagawa is great and stuff, but Dortmund will, at best, finish a distant second behind Bayern this year...

I just read something ridiculous -- apparently through nine games Bayern have scored 27 goals.

    And conceded zero.

    Yea, that's their last 9 games(Bundesliga+CL).
The streak goes from August 13 - September 24.
Includes the last 6 Bundesliga games(21:0) and three CL games (2:0, 0:1 vs. Zurich, 2:0 vs. Villareal). The system Heynckes implemented works ridiculously well, the 11 guys are everywhere on the pitch and work both on defense and offense. No dumb goals after turning the ball over as you saw with van Gaal.
Bayern is without competition so far, let's see what City can bring to the table vs. them.

Yeah but Werder and and Bor. MonGladbach are only 2 pts off them. (but we all know Bayern won't lose 1st place, no way no how).:)

Can't wait to see Man City destroy Bayern tomorrow, just kidding, it will be close. I'm hoping ManCity continue to play with an attacking intent, should be a high scoring game.

Inter 0-3 vs. Napoli, this team is done. Like I mentioned earlier, Napoli is the new force in Serie A.

City 4-0, ManU 2-0, think they'll be the top 2 teams all season.

Disappointed by Bayern, but I guess you can't win every match right? At least the zero still stands, 29-0 for the last 11 games.

No doubt we'll crush any team, except for Barca(or maybe them, too?).
This season has me hyped like 07/08 when Ribery and Toni joined.
