I would say he's in the bottom 5 for sure. Do you all agree/disagree?

If you disagree, who all can you say Lin is better than?

List of NBA starting PG's:
Boston - Rondo
Atlanta - Teague
Brooklyn - D. Will
NY - Felton
Philadelphia - Holiday
Toronto - Lowry
Chicago - Rose
Cleveland - Kyrie
Detroit - Knight
Pacers - Hill
Bucks - Jennings
Bobcats - Walker
Miami - Chalmers
Magic - Nelson
Wizards - Wall
Mavs - Collison
Grizz - Conley
NO - Vasquez
Spurs - Parker
Denver- Lawson
Minny - Ridnour
Portland - Lillard
OKC - Westbrook
Utah - Williams
Warriors - Curry
Clips - CP3
Lakers - Nash
Suns - Dragic
Kings - Brooks/Thomas
I can only firmly say Lin is better than Thomas/Brooks, Ridnour, and Felton right now.

He's on the same level or marginally better/worse (arguments could be made for both) than guys like: Knight, Chalmers, Teague (this one is a stretch)

List of backups that are better than Lin:

Andre Miller
Jose Calderon
Eric Bledsoe
Ricky Rubio
Jarrett Jack
Ramon Sessions

Why is this thread necessary? We already have the 'Jeremy is a joke thread?' This is just you trying to stroke your own ego.

on offense ...... YES Defense ........... almost. He is so scared to shoot that he now travels when he catches the ball at the 3pt line for open shots.

He's slumping right now, so the question is a little unfair. How about through the first half of the season instead?

To clear up the confusion, Jeremy Lin is the starting PG on the Rockets. Just so everyone is on the same page :)

Absolutely durvasa, that's what I intended the poll to be about. Through the games played thus far this season, is he one of the worst?

The worst utilized, yes. He's not a spot up shooter, not even close. Not to mention, he's a point guard in name only. He's the Asian Mario Chalmers except he can't shoot. But no, he is not the worst pg. That's ridiculous. Also, asking for peoples opinion on clutchfans is a waste of time for the most part. I seriously question whether most people watch the games.

Doesn't take a genius to know that he has been terrible lately. He has had flashes where he is aggressive and finishes but not many. Most times though, he gets scared and travels or passes up open shots

I love it when the old timer CF members call each other out. They have so much shared history and mutual understanding that it's kinda like watching an old couple trade barbs... it's all good natured fun. I only hope the flame wars around Lin can get to that stage real soon.

I've seen threads like kobe bryant being the most overrated and Dwight being the most overrated. There should definitely be a thread of being one of the most overrated players in nba history.

ehhh. This is his first season starting a whole season in the NBA. He's learning and won't develop the consistency everyone wants for another yr or two. Same with Morris, hes not a starter but its his first season in the NBA. He's inconsistent and everyone was dumping on him too. He will develop.

I understand Lin is being paid alot to be below average at the moment but it was more an investment in potential than it was to bring in an established player. Same with Asik, though he had more development defensively, not so much offensively. We are still rebuilding. Lots of bumps in the roads and slumping young players in our future.

during the first season, i'd say he was 19th(according to hoopstats) one better than gogi, even though gogi is playing the POINT while lin is playing in mchale's vision of pg. oops another bricked three.
