    Old disgraceful article:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Vernon_Maxwell&oldid=43092527

    True and honest profile:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vernon_Maxwell

This one idiot who keeps editing Vernon Maxwell's entry to include negative information and fails to indicate Vernon's amazing career college and professional.

I, as a Clutchfans member, have sworn to the Rockets Gods that I will uphold the honor of all heroic Rockets (no Scottie Pippen). I will never let any Rockets hero be disgraced in the public or internet.

If I saw this guy who keeps messing with Vernon's bio, I'd do what Vernon would do!

    I have corrected Vernon's Bio.

    LOL :D

You have sure painted a "somewhat" better picture of him. Not that I agree any more with the older version but shouldn't you at least mention something after 1994?

This is a perfect example why Wikipedia is almost useless if you want complete and correct information about something.

Combine both articles; I don't think every single arrest is as pertinent as his career stats, but pretty much every Rockets (and NBA) fan knows about his off-court misadventures, so I think it merits a brief mention (maybe a paragraph) at the end of the article.

Ironically enough, it appears you just sort of....quit....on your article when you got to 1995.

The first one was awful, but yours wasn't all that fair either. Convienently ending his bio at 1994 is even more shady than the spin on major media these days.

Vernon's career, if summed up in 3 bullet points:
-Dynamic all-around scorer who routinely gave fits to lockdown defenders, including MJ, and a key component of the Rockets championship team of 1994.

-Quit on his team under the guise of personal problems in the midst of a championship run because he was not willing to take a backseat to (still in his prime) Clyde Drexler.

-Finished his career as a journeyman dogged by off-court issues.

You can't pretend that those last two didn't happen. Forgetting about Sam's childish attitude and Horry's lack of passion for the game (as Rockets) is something that can slip through the cracks of time. Not what Maxwell did.

Maxwell has pride, he didnt want to be a bench player to Clyde. That's what made Maxwell .. Maxwell. His pride and his fire.

Go to this link, and tell me what the title is above Maxwell's highlight:
    http://www.nba.com/rockets/history/history_video.html

THAT SHOULD ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS EVER ABOUT VERNON

Jesse Jackson cheated on his wife. Magic Johnson obviously did.
    Kobe. Jordan...etc

Dude, this is MAD MAX not John Paul III.

I'm all for fair and balanced articles, but are you saying that the previous article is not true? They should be combined with an emphasis on his basketball achievements, that would make it true and honest.

And yet if you look at those people's wikipedia they list their shortcomings. You got to put in the good with the bad. And for God sakes, edit your post above, it's stretching out the whole screen.

I agree with the people who think the current article is almost as biased as the previous one. You make no mention of his problems. Not mentioning his problems is like talking about Ron Artest without talking about his problems. It 's shortsighted and makes you look like a biased ideologue.

ok, i'll speak about Ron Artest. People in Detroit started a melee with the Pacers.
No ONE DARED to mess with Vernon.

Im not biased. There weren't any problems.
    example:

Child Support: Wife was a gold digger.

The punching of the fan: Talked about Vernon's daughter.

Clyde: I like Clyde, but he sucks as an anouncer. Vernon knew that he was a bad anouncer before any of us.

The arrests: Similar to Rodney King. He didnt deserve it.

Evan, Max was a lockdown defender. He gave Jordan fits, and was one of the only guys who could do it. Sure, he could also give a team fits if he was hot, an understatement, but he was as well know for his D as for his on again, off again offense.

Come on... get your facts straight! :p

(who wants to read all that negatory schitzel anyway?? ;) )
