Thanks to Clutch for this opportunity.

Now whoever pisses me off is going to get a full article on why they suck. :)

Just kidding, its Rockets season time... the most wonderful time of the year. So let us put aside our differences and all agree that In-N-Out Burger is way better than Whataburger.

I was surprised moes felt the same way because I thought I was in a relative minority, but I have them at 49. I'd love to be wrong (and the Rockets have proved doubters wrong quite often), but I think you have to factor in Yao's limited minutes and the back-to-backs situation. So much of this is going to depend on how competitive teams like the Warriors, Clippers, Suns and Hornets end up being.

    Good job Moe.

I think they'll be around 52 wins this year and anywhere from 3-6 seed this season. The West is wide open this year IMO. But I think Yao being limited on back to back will hurt Houston unless Hill and Miller can prove they can step it up with Yao being out. I do expect Yao's minutes to go slightly up once we get closer to April.

I still think Morey will make a trade happen this season as well. I think Les and Morey plans are to swing for the fences if possible.

Watch everyone agree with this article because its from clutch. What he said is no different then what everyone else has said. 48 wins 7th or 8th seed. Believe it! Friggin homers. I just hope the rockets prove these predictions wrong

I completely agree here, but would want take off the Warriors and add the Kings and Nuggets. Honestly, the only team I'd say have pretty much zero chance of making the playoffs are the Warriors, Griz, and Twolves. The other teams could really surprise and be in playoff contention. For that reason, I think the win totals are going to be a little lower then normal this year. There just aren't that many gimmies.

The east has plenty of teams that shouldn't be too difficult, but the number of teams you really have to worry about has grown to about 6. It's starting to look a lot like the West did years ago.

    Rookie is as rookie does.

Nice work, Moestavern. Very easy read.
