An MRI performed today on Rockets center Yao Ming revealed a stress fracture of the Medial Malleolus in his left ankle. The fracture, which is related to his previous injury of the Tarsal Navicular bone, presented itself during the course of his current rehabilitation program. There is no timetable for his return at this time.

SHOCKED...time for Morey to build his team and not McGrady or Yao's.

    Wow....

    This freaking bites.

Now what do we do with this dude? Will Morey drop the $ for this guy to be on our team for years to come?

Ok, sorry for Yao, time to move on.

Yao needs to be able to live his life without pain, basketball is just not right for his body, we and he tried.......

Prediction, this thread (in the voice of Bill Murray from stripes):

    BLOWN UP! SIR !

I expected this before the season even started. Better now than later so the team can move on.

    It was nice.

OK, now I'm ready to accept he isn't coming back and to move on. I wonder if he retires soon. It would help us with our cap.

It's such a strange thing. I really love Yao Ming and he'll always be one of my favorite Rockets of all-time, but I'm so tired of depending on him and then having something like this happen that I'll almost be glad if this results in his retirement. I'm ready to rebuild.
