    Nice summary, as always!

Poor Jordan Henriquez, can't even get a reference when Earl Boykins gets a mention. :(

Thanks! Only Casspi is signed so far, any reason why Reggie & Garcia have not been officially signed? Also does this mean we are not really chasing Camby with the room exception then?

it's funny that a fan forum has a better breakdown of salary cap intricacies than the national media. I remember that some analyst didn't even know that the new cba didnt allow sign and trades to include the 5th year, but the story still hit the presses. Thanks for still lingering on the board bima.

    Thanks Bima, nice read again.

But a little confuse between "Team Option" and "Non-Guarantee", appreciate if you can explain the difference, and apologize for my poor English.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks Bima! Great stuff as always!

I would attempt to give you an answer, but I don't want to deal with the backlash from everybody. I would get responses along the lines of, "Thanks for trying, but I don't listen to anybody except Bima"

    lol

    Bima, great article as always!

Something I would love to see explored is the financial impact of the Rockets being able to take on a "3rd Star"...in this case, let's use LaMarcus Aldridge as an example. ;)

So, let's say the Rockets traded Asik, T-Jones, 2 1st round picks (2014, 2016) for Aldridge.
And that the Rockets extended (or resigned) Aldridge's Max contract after it is up in 2015.
And then the Rockets have to deal with Parsons' new contract. Maybe Lin gets traded (8M off the books) for some draft pick asset to allow for Parsons' new deal to kick in. Maybe the deal starts at 8M.

Team now might include these core players
    -Howard
    -Harden
    -Aldridge
    -Parsons
    -Beverley
    -Canaan
    -D-Mo
Min Vet guys like ~ Casspi, Williams, Garcia, Covington etc

Assuming multiple years of MLEs for key rotation guys + draft picks.

Can the Rockets sustain this financially?
