The James Harden signing is Trevor Ariza magnified. Morey won't get out of this contact so easily.

Edit: Lin is more of a contract that looks bad....

    Harden is Ariza? lol......

But honestly, what should we expect? This team is built to fail this season. Which I'm fine with.

I've watched harden play a lot. I'm not saying he's as bad as Trevor Ariza but relative to his contract, to me, his worth is the same.

Harden was bad tonight, but you're making a dangerous assumption that his last couple of games are not just a slump but the norm moving forward.

The is our leader and first option:

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Harden with more shots made, 4, than questions answered, zero. Bolted before locker room opened after going 4 of 18 with 5 turnovers.</p>&mdash; Jonathan Feigen (@Jonathan_Feigen) <a href="https://twitter.com/Jonathan_Feigen/status/267114144430440448" data-datetime="2012-11-10T03:59:09+00:00">November 10, 2012</a></blockquote>

    Sounds like someone.

I did think of Ariza after the first two games. IIRC, Ariza played pretty amazing at the start of his season with us, and some fans were calling him the second coming of McGrady.

But I'd have to say the comparison stops there. Harden is a muuuuuuuch better player than Ariza.

He is young, I would not fault him for doing this.

His stint reminds me of a shortened version of Linsanity.

You're comparing Harden to Ariza...? Harden was the 3rd overall pick, by the THUNDER. I'm not worried.

Doesn't he have a bum ankle? Maybe teams actually have scouts that know our game plan? Maybe McFail is a horrible coach? Maybe our starters are just young and are still learning to play together, which under McFail means "just sit there and jack up 3's, since I'm too lazy to make plays?" Ariza magnified, I want what you're smoking.

Ariza was nowhere near the layer Harden has been in his funk. Sure ariza had that start especially that monster game against Portland, but all he did was chuck, atleast harden attacks the basket regulary.

You're crazy man. Harden will be A-OK. Yes, he has some learning & growing up to do.. But more importantly, YES he has the skill set and pedigree of a potential superstar. This season will be tough on everyone, but in a couple of years we should be very competitive. Well, that's assuming Morey gets this PF thing figured out :)
