3 years at the max ($45M), with 3rd year player option.

If we get a guarentee from bosh yes, but if not hell no. He's not an all star, and most likely won't make an appearance. Mavericks will be kicking them selves later. He's going to be making more than dirk their franchise player.

How is it an issue of overpaying if we are prepared to pay 88 mil for Bosh? If we keep Parsons, yeah I say give the max to Bosh.

If we lose Parsons, I really don't think we should offer the max to Bosh.

    Yes

We can't spend that money on somebody else, so as much as he would be overpaid I see no way we are better without him than with him.

With Bosh I would but without Bosh I would go get someone else at a cheaper price.

Does Parsons cap hold become 15M the moment he signs that offer sheet tomorrow? That's what I thought it was, but I have read differing reports on that.

Only if we get Bosh. If not then sign Deng for $10 mil and we have extra money.

No way, Parsons is not worth 15 million a year. He had a subpar playoffs after bragging that he was better than Batum. He outperformed his draft position and he is a "glue guy," but that is too much for a role player.

Now if we can get melo if he's still interested that would be ok. Maybe parsons was pissed they were going for another sf and he would lose his starting job.

He cannot be sign and traded, since he signed with the Mavs.

We will undoubtedly match, and I highly expect us to use all of our cap space, whether we get Bosh or not, were going to spend the money and try to make a championship run with whatever we scrap together.

Dirk is probably pissed. Take a paycut so that Cuban can overpay Chandler Parsons. He's a great guy and good player but 15 milllll daaayuuum!
