After watching David Andersen and Donatas Motiejunas scrub it up I'm a bit skeptical.

 

Dmo has shown flashes of being a very good offensive player.

 

Is he a true 6'9, or another one of those "6'9" PFs we seem so fond of?

 

Aldemir will play center.

 

But he played so few minutes for his team last season! Why is that being overlooked?

 

Why do euroleague players have such poor muscle definition? I would imagine any 18 yr old who is planning a career in basketball would see lean muscle as a critical element of success which can be acquired fairly easily.

 

 

 

6.9 rebounds in 16.8 minutes is a ridiculous rebounding rate.

Yep, pretty crazy.

Without having really seen too much game footage, I could see Aldemir being a Reggie Evans type of player, only taller and able to play center. And hopefully with less grabbing of other people's crotches.

 

If he can be a good backup PF who can rebound and finish,he will go beyond my expectations.

 

LOVE that comp. If he can be like Reggie Evans, I'll be super happy. We need a ferocious rebounder.

He's a big 6'9". Similar to Greg Smith in that he's more of a 4/5 than a true 4 or true 5.
