Does anyone have any extensive info on Kyle's ankle? I am trying to find some games to go to and was wanting to attend the Raptor's game on 11/27 to see him play. Will he be back by then? Rep for quality info.

Sorry for plugging up the board.

He's still listed as day-to-day. He'll probably be back by then.

Where is the best place to find info like this? Is there anywhere on NBA.com or something like that?

I am afraid Kyle will always have injury problems not because his body is injury-prone or anything, but just because of his bowling ball style of play. He's gotta be one of the most physical 6-footers ever to play pro basketball, and it gets him into health trouble a lot. He needs more of a mid-range game and better passing abilities so that he can play with more finesse, but it's hard to expect a guy to suddenly change his whole playstyle and develop skills he doesn't have (much) unless he's really young, which Lowry isn't anymore.

He definitely would benefit a lot if he expanded his mid-range game, it has to be high on his list of things to work on because it's such an obvious step. I don't know if it is revisionist history on my part, but I thought he shot pretty decently his first year with us back when he rarely attempted 3 pt shots, then he took them out of his game and shot them poorly after that.

No problem. Rotoworld is generally a good source of (often times hourly) injury updates. They're good because they cull information from sources from all over the web, because the site caters to Fantasy Basketball owners who care more about injury updates than anyone:

    http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nba/1269/kyle-lowry

The latest updates are that he went to NYC to get a second opinion on the injury, and is now back in Toronto with his team per his own Twitter account.

The Raptors have been silent about the extent of the injury, but are perhaps just being very cautious about rushing their franchise player back after the ankle roll. Early reports were that Lowry had just a low ankle sprain (which is good news) and could have possibly played last week at 75, 85% or so (more good news) if he had to.

Kyle is still listed as day-to-day (even more good news there) and may play in the Raptors' next game on Saturday. Barring some new medical diagnosis, it seems highly unlikely that this injury would persist all the way to the 27th of November.

There is also this tweet from about 10 minutes ago, if you want to just wait a couple of hours before buying tickets, OP.

It doesn't get any more up to the minute than that, really. ;)

    Per Eric Koreen:

"Lowry 1-2 weeks with bruised cuboid bone."

So a bone bruise. Not anything structural (Raptors fans and Rockets protect pick fans must be pleased), but it is an annoying injury.
