So within 3 weeks' of his visit to Beijing, and signing a 3-year US$ 4M endorsement with China Peak, Shane Battier has received 2 pairs of tailor-made shoes from China Peak....and he sported them in the team practice yesterday.

Compared to Reeboks, China Peak seemed more efficient. Yao Ming had requested for his new pair of shoes right after the World Championship when he was back into Shanghai. It did not arrive in time for the training camp, and it also caused Yao Ming to hurt his toe........

I'm so glad that he has wrapped up his ankles like a mummy.. I would hate for him to get hurt.

Are they going to sell it here in the US? I'd like to get one if it's not too expensive. I'm not gonna wear it, just to add my handful of shoes collection.

Anybody in China? please send me one I'll pay you by paypal. Thanks.

the red ones look pretty cool.

for some reason i don't trust companies i never heard of. however, yao had a problem with reebok, and steve had a problem with addidas.

i think everyone should be signed to nike!

I like the red ones, too! Looks very soft and comfy like those BronBrons that came out like 2 years ago.

Shane is a smart businessman. The shoe is just his entrance into the Chinese market. He will be marketing other chinese products by next year.

Looking at what's on their website I wouldn't be surprised if they were a contractor for any of the big athletic shoe brands.

Yeah, I'm betting this makes Houston a much more desirable location for free agents next year.

These aren't bad looking. I personally think the ones Battier wears are ugly, but for $4MM, I could do ugly.
