Hopefully he doesn't let this "minor" surgery linger into next season as he did last season with the knee. Rehab properly this time for both surgeries Tracy, and good luck!

And Mcgrady is more concerned with Yao's injury? I can't believe he really said that on the Patrick show

Sigh..this guy has a bum shoulder and knee.

Don't worry about that. Tracy will be quite the little trooper next season, because he'll be in a contract year. Won't matter, though, because he won't be here next Spring. :)

I don't believe "being lazy" or not rehabbing is an issue. Getting your shoulder worked on takes away speed for whatever reason. A player might be healthy again but it takes them a full season of playing to regain their old form.

I'm calling it now. McGrady won't be 100% until the 2010-11 season. Rockets need to find a sucker for a McGrady trade this off-season.

Quote:As for an update on me, I had shoulder surgery yesterday, which was successful. For those of you with medical knowledge, I had a left shoulder arthroscopic distal clavicle excision for long standing symptoms emanating from my acromioclavicular joint…. For everyone else out there, I had a quick arthroscopic surgery to minimize some pain and discomfort in my left shoulder.

PR spin to build trade value.

You guys actually think he remembered the exact name of the procedure. Obviously someone updates his blog for him.

Loved the backbone comment though... Hahaha so true.

For some reason I have always imagined Shane Battier writing McGrady's blogs.

While he's at it, he might as well find a good heart doctor.

i agree he doesnt write this himself, but it's not really that difficult to memorize it, sometimes that's all you hear, the doctor repeats it, nurses, assistants, its on charts, bills, etc...so it sticks after a while.
