I feel good about this game. Pure and utter delusion on my end but the Rockets have momentum on their side!

I'm pretty much going to love (or love to hate) this game no matter how it falls out.

    Things I'm expecting to see:
    - tired legs
    - inexperience
    - a few sparks of brilliance
    - some remaining exuberance from the last two wins
    - the Spurs pulling a few new rabbits out of it's hat and surprising the Rockets with it
    - Pop starting to pull out his actual playbook since it's after xmas.
    - running and a whole lot of it
    - Live or die by the transition D.

I think that (while it would be great for the Rockets to win this) that this is the start of one of the hardest back-to-backs in the league, barring one with maybe the Heat. So I'm not expecting much; even though in theory they nearly won without Harden last time.

A good measuring stick, basically, of how far they've come.

If the Rockets are focused, this should be a close game; and if the Spurs/Pop gave a damn, then they'll lean on their experience and probably win it in the last couple minutes. Presuming that Pop did his homework on the Rockets, and wants to win this one. If he didn't, then I wouldn't be surprised with a blowout much like the Bulls.

Should be a good game to watch. I like Timmy D and Parker.

    Let's keep the streak alive!

Spurs play fast like the Rockets. Only problem is, they've been doing it together for 10 years longer than us.

At least Gary Neal should be out.

If Harden and Lin both play well like their individual Spurs games then I think we have a chance. The OKC game is more important though imo. Gotta win one for Harden.

The Rockets are just the type of young team that the very disciplined Spurs feast on. No team in the NBA is as disciplined in their defense as the Spurs. Hopefully the Rockets bring their A-game and out run the Spurs into the ground.

If we play like we did against the Bulls and Grizzlies, then we can win this. I feel like if both Harden and Lin have good games, then the Rockets are very hard to beat.

Actually, I'm hoping that the Spurs will nullify the running game of the Rockets. I want to see how our players would counter when faced with a truly stifling defense. It may be painful to watch, but it's a good way to develop more dimensions to this offense in the long term.

We have a chance if Lin gets hot from the outside like he did last time the Rockets played the Spurs. And of course, Harden doing his usual superstar 25-30 points per game, getting 10 free points at the foul line. I bet Harden's forearms doesn't even register pain anymore from all the hacks he's taken on them.
