I don't keep up well enough with league news and Sportscenter stuff, so I don't really know much about Tracy McGrady's health issues and his back. Here is what I was able to find so far:

    Games Played:
    97-98 Season - 64
    98-99 Season - 49
    99-00 Season - 79
    00-01 Season - 77
    01-02 Season - 76
    02-03 Season - 75
    03-04 Season - 67

    Injury History

In a random search, I found a few mentions of 3 separate back injuries.... "back spasms", "back contusion", and "lower back injury", but not much detail. I think the "lower back injury" is the one we care about?

Here is a link to an article that says:

Here is another article that mentions the rehab:

More info would be wonderful. Please post what you know....

I agree. This is a concern, but don't forget that all players traded must undergo a medical exam.

What do we say to Steve, Cuttino and Cato after we rescind the trade?

You can go ahead and chalk up every game that TMac misses as a loss.

The same thing they told Robert Horry and Matt Bullard after the Sean Elliot trade was rescinded.

Well you're the Doctor, you tell us.:)

Seriously, all I know is back problems are scary so if the trade goes down the Rockets better get a super clean bill of health. Back problems at such a young age are scary. Larry Johnson anyone?
