Miguel Angel Paniagua: Royce White's representatives will start exploring options in Europe next week. His contract would have to include a "no fly" clause.

    so, he is leaving.

Sounds great to me. Hopefully he grows up over there.

I'm pretty sure we don't have to pay him if he goes to Europe.

    If true, this is ridiculous.

He'd rather play in Europe than in the NBA D-League?

    Traded for Patrick Beverley?

Play in Taiwan like Shawn Kemp did. Travel by subway and express trains.

I really just couldn't care less about Royce White anymore. He's completely ruined any sense of support I could have had for him.

As long as we don't have to continue paying him and his salary doesn't count against our cap space, that sounds like a great news.

Part of me is saddened at how things turn out with White. I was so rooting for him when he was drafted. The sad thing is, not only is he ruining his career, he's also doing a disservice for those suffering from mental illness that he's supposedly advocating for. :(

He obviously feels that he is treated as a human there.

    there will be other talents..
of that I am pretty sure.... no need to get emotionally invested in someone who does not want to play in the league

I work in mental health. Truly believe in my work....and am already checked out on what he is saying. I don't know him, but it's starting to sound more like an interesting case of Munchhausen Syndrome...although it would be the first time I've really seen a mental illness used to this extent.

If the Rockets keep his rights, then this is the best solution possible. He gets to sort out his problems elsewhere, and the Rockets treat him like a euro-stash.

This is great news for the Rockets! The quicker they dispose of this mistake, the better.

I predict Royce will flame and burn in Europe. Whatever bush league he joins will be much less sensitive and patient with his nuttiness. If he ever plays in an actual game, opposing crowds will taunt him mercilessly. I wonder how his anxiety will react that.

If he actually goes over there, he'll be back in the U.S. soon.

    LOL! That's funny.

I'm pretty sure the #Protocol prohibits him from swimming... ;)
