Who is the best young(under 25) point guard right now and who will end up as the best?

Who would you most like to have on your team for the foreseeable future?

Obviously Jeremy Lin. He's the GOAT!
Who else is putting up 40 points per game? 20 assists per game? And 100 turnovers per game?

Maybe I should be more clear, I meant starting point guard, not backup.

I would be labeled as a racist otherwise.

Right now Westbrook. I think Irving could take over in a few years once he becomes a better defender.

You are obviously racist for not worshiping Jeremy Lin like the rest of us.
I hope Jeremy Lin becomes our dear leader after his NBA career.

Best PG as of today? Westbrook. Best overall when healthy? D Rose. Who will be the best ever when it is all said and done. D Rose.

    Jerry Lin by far.

He has no equal on the court.

JEREMY LIN IS NUMBER ONE, AVERAGES 45 PPG, 20 AST and 0 TOs! FUTURE OF THE ROCKETS AND SHOULD PLAY EVERY POSITION, TRADE EVERYONE ELSE BECAUSE THEY SUCK.

    for real:
Westbrook right now, Irving in a couple years. Lillard is doing amazing and probably will get ROTY, but it's a little early to see how well he'll develop.

Still got to go with Rose. He may not be the best of that group for the next 2 years, but since we are talking all of the rest of their career... In all likelihood Rose gets back to his previous level, and none of these other guys have ever been at Rose's top level yet.

If we knew Rose would never be the same, then I'd just take anyone of Westbrook, Kyrie and Rubio based on the team.

Lillard is good, but he's an older rookie, and i'm not sure he's going to be much better. He'll probably top out ~Tony Parker / Kevin Johnson level --- all star, very good, but not a superstar.

One of the issues I have with this poll is that it is dependent on needing a shoot-first PG (like Westbrook) or a pass-first PG (like Nash). Both excel at different areas and are suitable for certain teams :)

rose... anyone else is jus a bias against roses injury... your talking about the youngest mvp everrrr...(quik side note: no mvp in nba history has never maid the HoF) i know the injurys are scary but he is obviously the best young talent... now if your scared of the injurys and want to choose someone else i would say it has to be kyrie, because that boy can play...

The little known fact about Jeremy Lin is that he is actually 16. He was so smart he went to college when he was 12 and graduated in 2 years. He then made fake papers so he could play in the NBA early.

    Lin it to win it.

Westbrook is right now at higher level than Rose ever was. His durability and work ethic puts him over Rose, not many thought before the draft that he would perform at same level or better. His improvemnt since his rookie year till now is impressive.

This was exactly my thoughts when I voted. Rose has obviously done the most in his career so far and in my opinion has shown the most talent. However, If I was starting a team RIGHT NOW and had my pick of these players, I would go with Kyrie Irving because of the injury problems with Rose.
