Pro Athletes Invest In New Restaurant
Mac And Bones Golf And Grill Breaks Ground

PEARL, Miss. -- NBA star Tracy McGrady and former NFL star Deuce McAllister team up to invest in a sports-themed restaurant.

Mac and Bones Golf and Grill, with a seating capacity of 125, will include 35 high-definition television sets, as well as a miniature-golf course and a covered driving range.

Former New Orleans Saints and Ole Miss running back Deuce McAllister said regardless of the lagging economy, he believes the restaurant will succeed.

"We've had to alter our original plans and make sure that it still fits for the market and what the market brings to us. I think that it will be a pretty successful project," McAllister said.

The restaurant is scheduled to open the first week of October on Riverwind Drive in Pearl.

McGrady will probably be hanging out on the perimeter of the property trying to avoid contact with people.

Good post. Factual and accurate. Why would anyone give it one star...short of just being a hater? People...all he did was pass on a published, factual article. Why even rate articles, and if you do choose to do so, how do you give it less than 5 stars? It's not like the poster is responsible for the content...

If you don't know anything about business but you really want to set one up, make a restaurant.

The haters will hate. You should have seen the wasted thread when Yao opened up his restaurant. Boy was that a waste of space to create that thread.

It sure was. Go back and check what I wrote in that thread. It had nothing to do with the Rockets as an organization. There's no double standard here.
