If Harden can remain healthy, can this guy make the All NBA 1st Team?

    Harden's Stats

    PPG: 26.1
    APG: 5.7
    RPG: 4.7
    PER: 23.48
    TS%: .602
    FG%: .452
    WS (Wins Shared): 8.5
Competition: (Chris Paul is a lock, so I won't bother with him)

    Kobe Bryant:

    PPG: 27.4
    APG: 5.4
    RPG: 5.3
    PER: 23.04
    TS%: .568
    FG%: .465
    WS: 7.3

    Russel Westbrook:

    PPG: 22.5
    APG: 8.1
    RPG: 5.2
    PER: 23.25
    TS%: .520
    FG%: .425
    WS: 7.0

    Tony Parker:

    PPG: 20.7
    APG: 7.7
    RPG: 3.0
    PER: 24.42
    TS%: .595
    FG%: .535
    WS: 8.0

Harden has the highest TS%, Highest WS, 2nd most points scored, 2nd highest PER.

I think it will eventually be Harden vs Kobe, with the Kobe lovers getting him on 1st team.

Probably depends on whether the Lakers make the playoffs or not.

Exactly, it's like a lifetime achievement award, one last undeserved set of accolades.

Random, but are they also removing the center position from the All-NBA teams? Its crazy how weak the center position is nowadays.

    1st Team
    Chris Paul
    Kobe Bryant
    LeBron James
    Kevin Durant
    Carmelo Anthony

    2nd Team
    Russell Westbrook
    James Harden
    Blake Griffin
    Tim Duncan
    Brook Lopez

    3rd Team
    Tony Parker
    Dwyane Wade
    David Lee
    LaMarcus Aldridge
    Tyson Chandler

If we make the playoffs, he will def be in the running. If we make it as a 6th seed? Then definitely especially if the Lakers are out.

    It's still 2 Guards, 2 Forwards, 1 Center.

This might be the year Kobe Bryant gets knocked out of the first team. I dont think Harden makes first team. Tim Duncan takes first team center spot and shuffles everyone downwards.

Parker is a lot more deserving in my opinion than James. I think Kobe will still get it over james & also CP3 as well will get it over James.

Parker is balling right now at a totally different level. In fact I think Parker is more deserving than CP3 & Kobe. James will likely get third team, don't see him getting second team at all.

Kobe will more than likely make it ahead of him this year. Next year he will make it as Kobe fades.

Doubt Parker gets first team even though he probably deserves it. Depends on how the Lakers do second half.

if the lakers make the playoffs kobe is a lock

its like coaches vote for him regardless of actual play of other people -- especially when it comes to all-nba defense (kobe hasnt consistently played good defense in over 5 years)

otherwise Harden makes a very strong case for the SG spot

    1st team guards.

    Parker/Paul

    2nd team guards.

    Westbrook/Wade

    3rd team guards

    Harden/Kobe

This is how it should be. I think It'll be shuffled around though so that Kobe is first team which will knock Parker down to 2nd and Westbrook down to 3rd.

It's a longevity thing any ways. I think Harden will get in over Curry because he's been doing this for a lot of his career in just a different role and this is Curry's breakout year. Kyrie's team is just too bad for him to make this list as well.

I was thinking Harden had a really good chance but if parker keeps playing like this it will be tough. What hurts him tho is they still play so well when parker sits haha.

There is no way Kobe is first team if they miss playoffs btw

They will give it to Kobe whether he deserves it or not.

I doubt it. However it feels good to have someone on our team that is a legitimate possibility for first team

kobe will make it on name alone, just like he somehow manages to make defensive teams.

    Real List for Guards IMO

    1st team: TP, CP3
    2nd team: Rapist, Harden
    3rd team: Westbrick, Wade

Actual list probably (biased as crap)

    1st team: Kobe CP3
    2nd team: Westbrook Wade
    3rd team: Harden Parker

TP is arguably the best player on the best team in the NBA. I think he probably deserves it this year.
