I'm suggesting that prosecuters treat grand jury proceedings in that fashion 99.99 percent of the time, with the objective of getting an indictment. That's not a figure of speech, it literally is that easy In this instance, they didn't. Why does Wilson get a fake pretend grand jury? If there's exculpatory evidence that's what a trial is for.
Translation: I was scared and should have waited for backup. So now you're making excuses by pulling up pictures of professional fighters... Nice.. The hits keep coming. Excuses, Excuses, Excuses...

Protesters antagonizing innocent bystanders by burning their businesses, looting their stores, blocking traffic, stopping them from doing their normal daily tasks isn't going to change anything. It's just stupid.

Backup had already been called by Officer Wilson. This is at least the 2nd time in this thread this has been stated.
The so called "protesters" are nothing more than savages. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. These idiots had a preconceived notion that the cop was guilty and got pissed off when the actual facts do not support their idea. The facts in this case were so easy and straight forward it should have never gone to a grand jury but I can understand why the DA gave it to a grand jury seeing how all the savages are reacting. It makes a lot of sense to loot and burn down everything in sight just because they are pissed off for no logical reason. A guy attacked an officer and the officer defended himself. News flash: When you attack an armed police officer you may get shot and killed.
You are struggling to keep up, son. My point was that pictures are only a piece of the picture. By the way the pictures do show Wilson was assaulted, so you really have no point at all. Lose the bias. Educate yourself on the facts instead. Learn from this.
He's 6'4 and BTW I can show you pictures of Iraq combat vets that look like him. Bet you wouldn't call them wimpish
Legal scholars praise Ferguson grand jury for fairness beyond the norm http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/nov/25/legal-scholars-praise-ferguson-grand-jury-fairness/ Legal experts across the country agree that while the process that led to a grand jury’s decision not to indict Officer Darren Wilson for killing Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, was unusual, it was not unfair. Rather if it was anything unusual, it was in its fairness and openness. Read more: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news...e-ferguson-grand-jury-fairness/#ixzz3K8Ccd5rJ Follow us: @washtimes on Twitter
I said waited for backup... As in he could have waited for help because it's obvious he needed help. But than again he had his gun so I guess that's all the help he needed. But Wilson isn't an Iraq combat vet is he...??? And an Iraq combat vet might get their azz kicked too by someone much bigger if they looked like that. Good thing is soldiers may not necessarily deal with a lot of hand to hand combat when at war. So you can show the pictures all you like but it doesn't matter.
Agreed! The mob(and the Browns) wanted the officer lynched no matter how much the facts prove he is innocent.
I am not a policemen, and I have never had firearm's training...so basically most of what I have to say is speculation: 1. Wilson lacked adequate gun training when dealing with mobile targets in a confined space. This caused fear to dictate his actions as opposed to relying on his firearm/police training. There is no question in my mind that prior to this hostile physical encounter, words were said back and forth between the officer and victim. Let's fast forward to the part when Brown was taking swings at Wilson, who was still inside his cruiser. I do believe in the version that Wilson was trying to get out of a confined space and confront Brown...But the officer was trapped; and based on this rational fear...he reached for his gun and tried aimlessly firing hoping something hit. The moment he got out of his car, he was able to direct more lethal shots at the victim. 2. I think Wilson shouldve been more calm dealing with such a dangerous situation by waiting for back up. By his own statement, he claims the area to be unsafe. Just that itself would force me to wait for assistance. Why would you approach two young black males, with one being a possible suspect at a robbery. Neither step may have saved his kid from losing his life, but this the price one pays for being stupid
Seems simple to me -- kid snaps at the quicky mart and robs the owner -- police confront him and he freaks out and charges the cop trying to beat him up -- cop fires on the kid killing him. What am I missing?
So did Wilson know Brown was a robbery suspect or not...??? So are police officers trained to call a suspect to their car while they're still in it to try to apprehend them...??? What an idiot.
