Ha ha... Dallas is the Houston of 2012 draft! :)

They traded 13th for 16th + 2 second rounders then flip it for the 18th.

He just said they are shopping him-doesnt mean they can move him. A trade involves 2 teams.

    Mark Deeks started another tweet

    Mark Deeks ‏@MarkDeeksNBA 1h
Another significant factor in play re: Rockets trying to move Lin - Patrick Beverley is better, and they know it.

    superbowl30 ‏@pinkpeony28 11m
@MarkDeeksNBA In what world is Beverly better than Lin? He had more scoreless and 0 assist games than Lin.

    Mark Deeks ‏@MarkDeeksNBA 10m
@pinkpeony28 Give him as much opportunity to succeed as Lin was and we'd see big nights from the guy. Seriously, he's legit good.

    superbowl30 ‏@pinkpeony28 3m
@MarkDeeksNBA He got more opportunity than Lin did in GSW & NY. Interesting that he's legit good w/less exp but Lin doesn't get that benefit

    Mark Deeks ‏@MarkDeeksNBA 2m
@pinkpeony28 GSW yes, but....NY? They gave him the ball and said "do whatever you want" for months. Couldn't ask for more.

They didn't want to pay anyone, that was the point of the trade.

Easy tiger, read my post again, did I ever, ever mention he has no credibility?

No, I did not. I've never heard of this guy that's why I was asking above questions.

It's question, not a judgmental call.

They may or may not keep it.

If Dallas keeps No. 18, Mavericks looking hard at Miami's Shane Larkin, source tells Y! Sports. They're still discussing deals.

If we have to give up Lin to get Dwight, then by all means.

But no way I want Beverley to be our starting PG.

He's defending his original tweet mighty hard.

Has Meeks been exposed as another Lin hater?

I give up on this thread. Much a do about nothing.

I didn't believe Beverly could start but I'm not against the idea now since Kevin Pelton suggested that he could.

If we trade Lin, we better sign a vet for PG that at least can run the offense. Beverley is too one dimensional.

@MarkDeeksNBA Bev's gotten a good amount of mins and more than 2 opportunities. Lin made a bigger impact with his opps.

    Mark Deeks ‏@MarkDeeksNBA 25m
@pinkpeony28 He did, but his regression to the mean was painfully severe.

    Bill Mcintyre ‏@thesuitedmonk88 9m
@MarkDeeksNBA @pinkpeony28 Are you serious, Mark? I know Beverley tries hard, but he's just a scrub and no where near Lin.

    Mark Deeks ‏@MarkDeeksNBA 9m
@thesuitedmonk88 @pinkpeony28 Quite serious. As are Houston.

    Bill Mcintyre ‏@thesuitedmonk88 5m
@MarkDeeksNBA @pinkpeony28 Where do you think Lin might go then?

    Mark Deeks ‏@MarkDeeksNBA 4m
    @thesuitedmonk88 @pinkpeony28 I think he stays.

Guys, remember how well Lin played and how much he improved during the regular season?

Interesting. The chum is in the water. Houston is putting out the info they want to put out.

Does sound legit. We'll be waiting to see how this plays out.
