Think you know what the Rockets will do Thursday night? Have something you WANT the Rockets to do Thursday night?

    Post it here.

No long, drawn out narratives needed. I'm not asking for a dissertation about your picks. Just give us the end product.

    I'll start.

Why would Cleveland trade for Robinson and give up their picks?

Well, reports are we've been offered a 1st for Robinson. I'm hoping it is in the top 20. So, I picked 19.

Also, CLE has Thompson and Speights at PF (12 and 10ppg, respectively). Maybe they see a young Thomas Robinson and decide he's worth a shot. They may figure he's a better bet than anybody they'd get at 19.

Ok. Then I bet we get Robert Covington SF @#34. He already been in Houston for workout (also in other 8 cities tho). In my mind he's underrated because of age (22, and 23 early in next season), also because didn't plaid much at high level.

    http://instagram.com/p/ai9Qh1RMCO/#

Has 7'2'' wingspan at 6'8'' height and 209lbs (only 6'6'' without shoes, could add more in Texas, pretty sure about this). From videos that I saw he's very athletic guy with pretty good offense. Rebounds very well (8rebounds as average last season for TSU, and progressed since first year). Because of long arms had atleast one block as average in all 4 seasons (last season 1.7 blocks per game), also active hands in defense and 2.2 steals per game last season. Good defense I guess because of stats above. Has very smooth shooting form, shoots pretty well from behind the arc, good ft shooter with .85% last season.

Any thoghts from you guys? Or it's too high to pick him #34 when he's around 40-50 picks (@mockdraft) :)

I have absolutely no idea what we are going to do on draft night... Ive seen the reports of trading TRob for a 1st to pick a euro guy though... So Ill say we give Cleveland our 2nd and Trob for one of their late 1st's and Take Rudy Gobert.

7'2" kid from France... I don't know much about him, but he's big. Can't have to many big guys.

I guess thats what im hoping for, but this is NOT a draft to be excited about. So its whatever to me.

Well if they don't trade the pick, i say they will draft Kentucky's top perimeter defender last season. Archie Goodwin.

I'd love that. I've seen him going in the early 20s in some mocks.

Word is the Rox are targeting Nogueira, Adetokunbo, Schroder, etc....
If that's the case, they must've been offered a Top 12-15 for TRob. Maybe they're throwing in T Jones or Motie too.

I think the best way to do this is to offer your top 3 prospects in order assuming at the 18th (? celtics) pick and the 34th pick.

3 picks at each spot in order, if the guy is still available when the 34th pick is reached, that's your pick, if not it's your second choice (or 3rd if the second choice is also gone).

That way, there's no ambiguity, and we don't need to hear half the posters here bragging they would've drafted better than Morey when what they really did was mention 5 names including Kwahi Leonard, and with a bit of revisionist history make it sound like Leonard was their top choice all along at 14.

This is what I want to see happen on Thursday.

    Trade
T-Rob to the Celtics for the 16th pick
Trade the 34th pick and D-Mo to OKC for Perry Jones III and the 31st pick

    16th pick
    Houston Rockets select Gorgui Dieng

    31st pick
    Houston Rockets select Erick Green

    Possible middle first round pick: Giannis Adetokunbo/Rudy Gobert to stash overseas, if not pick Dieng and trade out Asik(if DWH comes);

    34th pick: Goodwin/Muscala/Green

I guess the Celtics might get a trade exception in KG or Pierce deal, but as of now they have no way to absorb T-Rob.

Also, I'd be stunned if Green is available that late. The Rockets should just pick him at 16 if they get that pick.

Good pick! But luckily Morey went one up and go him without using a draft pick.

BTW, looks like a Shawn Marion lite
