Sony didn't reveal the console's design. They actually don't have the design ready, if Jack Tretton is to be believed.

Yoshida was talking about "broken promises" with TLG, and wouldn't comment on if it was still coming to PS3. It sucks that people bought a PS3, looking forward to playing FF Versus and/or TLG ("Team Ico's Game" back then).
In case anyone cares... Sony is supposed to show off the Killzone demo on Jimmy Fallon tonight (show just started/about to start I think?). Don't think I'll bother watching it, but might catch it tomorrow if anything of note was shown/said. (still can't believe some people, including important figures in the gaming press, think the KZ demo looks like a good PS3 game)

I couldn't care less what the console looks like, but if it can handle all this processing, and if it has all this power, I'll get it. I can't wait for Gran Turismo 6.
i'm sure the real shooter fans are looking forward to the next gen Call of Duty games instead of kill zone.
Those floors/ceilings definitely look next-gen! Sony's probably not happy they didn't get to show off the climatic ending of that demo (with great visuals and all that). Instead, they got 5 minutes of floors/ceilings. Oh wow. Never thought I'd hear "real shooter fans" and "Call of Duty" together like that. KZ isn't really much better. Great visuals, interesting storyline, some good scripted events, etc., but probably not the best gameplay...though I'd take it over CoD. (and if you were talking visuals, I'll be very surprised if CoD ends up looking better than KZ)
The "Leap" from super nintendo and genesis to playstation and nintendo 64 was huge... The "Leap" from nintendo 64 and playstation to xbox and playstation 2 was huge.... The "Leap" from Xbox and playstation 2 to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 was great...... I dont see a big difference here between the ps4 and anything else out there now. I'm sorry but I dont. The gameplay of killzone is pretty much a been there done that to me. A rip off of a rip off of a rip off of rip off is probably not going to be very good. Sure the ps4 has more horsepower and the graphics are going to look better but how about something new? You know, something that is not getting a fresh coat of paint and being sold as next gen.
Id say based off what I have seen the jump is equally as big if not bigger than the ps2 to ps3 conversion.
LOL at people who don't see the big leap. Graphically you may be used to nice looking things in CUTSCENES but graphics are fluid all the way through with GAMEPLAY. Also I am sure the cutscenes will be flawlessly seamed together with gameplay so you wont even know it's a cutscene. I imagine there will be no chops or lags in game when things get hairy, no loading screens in game, no waittimes or buffers in game (or graphical glitches). The PS4 and next gen XBOX will basically be like controlling a movie. I personally cannot wait.
