Don't think they realize they look like morons; they appear to tend to think that when people argue against them (like torocan), that the stats and logic are simply Wrong. Saw this video in another thread, thought it's highly appropriate, given that the way Skip Bayless argued his point (or rather failed to argue his point against Cuban's use of facts) reminds me of LOH: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/SAkVnlA9CJo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
My goodness do these guys know anything?! If I feel like I know more than them, they're doing a bad job.
i'm NOT! i freaking want the guy to succeed. What sane Rockets fan wouldn't? i just really enjoy screwing with LOFs because i can't stand them.
I remembered I am also the one that argue with your comment about Lin's awful shooting but in no way I was bashing you at that time. In fact, I usually likee your posts back then. As I always said, people have their own opinion. be cool
The biggest joke of all would be if the Rockets acted like us (knee jerk reactions) and sent J.Lin away a 2nd time to a team then blew up into a star. Houston would be a JOKE.
bro, i truly harbor no ill will. i want Lin to succeed. I think he's much better than he's shown through 15 games because his skill-set is not conducive to the offense we are running. i think he will improve his shooting by next year. How much, i don't know. It's a little frustrating because he is capable of doing so much more and if all we wanted was a spot-up shooter to play the point, there were a lot of cheaper options out there, who are better shooters. In short, we are wasting his skill-set. But i also don't think the guy walks on water either. I still think there are a lot of holes in his game and that he's not worth what we paid him. I truly hope he can learn to adjust his game to take advantage of the open looks he's getting. I just don't think he's a good fit at present, and especially not for the money. If that makes me a "hater", i'd just say that i call em like i see em. i do think he'll improve though. He's clearly still getting over his injury and still adjusting to the new system
