The best pot today. We're all mad tonight because of his airball... But the only thing he said to himself tonight in the post game shower is "I play for god, I play for god, I play for god...."
Listen, I'm not a fan of Lin either, but to to bash him for his religious beliefs is just wrong. Lets find something else...
I think I need to put this out there as a clarifying statement. While I do wish this team had Lowry, it doesn't matter to me because in the end we got James Harden.
Similarly, if Morey thought it was the best decision to let Dragic go because his contract was going to interfere with future plans that is fine by me as well. I do however think that this was a poor decision. But i'll let time run its course before I say anything. The only huge mistakes Morey has really ever made were: Ariza and Miller and he fixed both in appropriate time.
That being said though. I think Lin is fools gold and will never amount to anything substantial as an NBA player. I'm not even going to sugar coat it. After watching basketball for all of these years I have to agree with Melo/SAS/whoever else said it. Lin is not worth that money and he will probably never became a solid NBA starter.
If he does, i'll eat crow. But he probably wont so i'm not too worried. Right now he is honestly at the very bottom tier of starting point guards. He has a nice background and all, but the cinderella story is gonna come to an end.
Thanks for putting this into perspective. Yes airball or not, it really doesn't change the fact that this is not Lin we know and want. He has been quite passive ever since the Atlanta game. Not sure what is exactly going on but he needs to get his act together.
So you are Slovenian? And two more years in the league is a long time, especially for young players. And that's not counting the professional experience that Dragic's had since his teenage years. And Lin started the season well. He's been so-so lately, but that's the way it is with young players. Harden's looked pretty ordinary since the very start of the season as well.
More like 12 year olds. Their posts are pretty distasteful. But honestly if this was another board it would probably elicit laughs. Regardless though, I think that's a disservice to rednecks. Most of them are pretty christian anyways. At least by association
Dude he never mentioned god in his post game interview. But good thing is faith (whatever it may be) can at least help u deal better with situation like this. That is probably why he was able to overcome all the adversity in his life. I hope he can find himself out of this as well.
Why do you people have such bad argument points? Who cares if I am Slovenian? (i'm not for the record, ask hotballa) That would be like me constantly asking you if you're Asian? What does it matter
It is not significant if two years is more experience time. The fact is their age difference is only two years. That's like when people said "oh Joey Dorsey is still young! He has time to mature because he inexperienced." And then people realized he was already like 25. Inexperience =/= young
Not every one grows into a great player with an expanded role. For every McGrady and Jermaine O'neal there is a Trevor Ariza and Terrence Williams.
Lin didn't start the season well. And if he did you people have incredibly low standards. He was about average or so to start the season. Now he's downright bad.
Come on, he had an embarrassing moment against a team that nobody expected his team to even keep up with. It's not as if he cost his team a playoff game with the miss. Bounce back against the Hornets, and everyone can just have a good-natured laugh about that blooper moment.
I honestly don't think anybody should be blamed right now. If anybody should be blamed, blame LBJ lol he executed like a superstar down the stretch.
Video of Lin's 3pt attempt... seriously tho, thread is knee jerkish lol
Agreed. Dragic is the better player. He's also not a rocket and not going to be one anytime soon. Its time to move on.
