Hakeem should start a summer camp for NBA players trying to improve their post game. He clearly loves teaching and passing along his knowledge of the game of basketball and life.

 

Yes thats why guys like Amare is taking advantage of him. Why don't Amare fly to Hakeem to do his stupid work out instead of Hakeem coming to him.

BTW, J.Lin is a decent player but they keep talking about him like he's an allstar caliber player or something. He had a decent run but Goran Dragic had a better run when he was starting for the Rockets but he didn't get the same hype because he plays in Houston while Lin plays in NY. If J.Lin played like that in Houston, most people still wouldn't know who he is. I think Goran and Lowry are both much better than Lin. He put up decent stat on a nice little run he had and he got injured and was sideline for the rest of the season. If he returns and don't produce as much, I wonder if they still rave about him as much...

McGee would be unstoppable if he focused hardcore on his low post game. He has shown flashes of great moves in the post this season and I'm sure Hakeem's sessions would benefit him a lot.

Add Denver forward Kenneth Faried to list of players who will work out with Hakeem Olajuwon in August. Olajuwon representatives said Tuesday that Faried, Nuggets center JaVale McGee and New York forward Amar'e Stoudemire will all start workouts with Olajuwon at his ranch in Katy, Texas next Monday. Faried might just work out for one week while McGee and Stoudemire could work out for multiple weeks. All of that is not completely determined. Olajuwon, a Hall of Fame center who has worked successfully with the likes of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Dwight Howard, also is expected to bring in some other players in late August after the Olympics end. One Olajuwon has said he expects to work with at that time is Knicks forward Tyson Chandler, currently playing for Team USA.
