Lets not go overboard and keep it in context. A few of us gave him a few dollars. It's not like we were signing over our bank accounts. If he was willing to meet with BmwM3 and BmwM3 feels like it was legit, then either the dude has big ballz faking it to get a few bucks or he was really feeling desperate enough to meet a fellow member due to his situation. Besides him portraying himself as something else in the past (i.e. a really cool rapper driving a Lexus, knowing Rockets players, or whatever) on the Internet (geez...noone has ever done that), it still feels like the guy was having problems financially. And, for the little money I sent him, I'm fine with taking that gamble in the faith and hope it is actually helping him out...even if he doesn't live up to everyone's standards of what he should be doing to find a job or eat. Personally, I think this thread should be closed. I think he has been ripped to shreds enough. If his emails are to be believed, then it was really upsetting to him (put into perspective with BmwM3 meeting him and what he saw) and I don't think he wanted or meant for it to escalate to this point. And, the guy didn't come out and flat out ask for money (well...maybe he did but seemed to be looking for any kind of help...even if a small job). He asked for help looking for a job, advice, etc. . It seems reasonable he was having a hard time given how many are having a hard time in this country and the language barrier probably isn't helping him any. But, either way, I don't care. I only care if I was able to help him and he really needed the money to eat or pay bills. Then, it makes me happy. If not, then oh well.
I feel bad for this kid... remember him coming up to me trying to sell me some mixtapes outside a club. After hearing his songs, I am glad I didn't make the purchase.. Anyways hope he is okay and does nothing crazy.. Everyone has a low point in their life, some knows how to deal with it and some don't. I've had my rollercoaster..
