Saw this on facebook. I know there are a lot of dog owners here, seems like a fun contest. Clutch "The Rockets Bear" is looking for Houston's biggest canine Rockets fan. Post a picture of your dog wearing Rockets gear to our Facebook timeline. The 10 most "Rocketized" dogs will be chosen to participate in Clutch's Canine Contest during halftime of the Rockets vs. Bobcats game Wed. March 14. The 10 finalists will also enjoy the game (with 2 of their human friends) in a luxury suite. Winners will be contacted by Monday, March 12. Please only post pictures if you'll be able to attend the March 14 game if chosen.
ccorn- you mentioned in a game chat that you were going to enter. Did you and was your dog a finalist? Here was my entry- I was pretty bummed she wasn't a finalist. I felt like this contest was made for her. I was going to bring her to the Aeros "bring your dog night" months ago during the lockout in her Rockets jersey just so I could show her the Toyota Center and take some pics of her with her jersey there, but I had a basketball game that night. Maybe the contest was random? Or Heidi didn't get chosen because I'm a rowdy and the purpose of the contest is to get other fans involved? Idk. there were only like 15 entries & they were supposed to pick 10. Had she been selected, I had planned to put together a youtube video of the night and post it in this thread. Oh well.
I'm shocked your dog didn't make it though, she's all decked out ha. I was just going to put one of my girlfriends Rocket's shirts on my dog and take a picture of his paw on a Rocket basketball ha. Problem was he was too big to fit in her shirt, he looked awkward.
Maybe if you had a picture of RocketDog peeing on a Mavericks jersey you would have won. The picture of you two watching a game is adorable. Should have won based on that alone.
