I don't see what is wrong with an organization that prides itself on Christian values giving money to Christian organizations. Chick-fil-A is the nicest fast food restaurant. They are a company to be respected, not hated.

Always wondered the same thing. Not big on fast food in 1st place, but never understood the c.f.a. craze.

My guess is it's the same reason people spend money on Starbucks everyday. It's nothing special, but it's the "cool" place to go.

I also think it has something to do with people thinking they are eating so much better by eating chicken rather than a cheeseburger.

And they only cook gay chickens.

And real men eat steak fries, not no gay-ass waffle fries.

Based on the lines I see at lunch time, I'm almost ready to conclude that the boycott of Chick-Fil-A just MIGHT NOT be working.

I wonder if Annise Parker knows about Chick-Fil-A's torrid anti-gay agenda. She would shut down all Chick-Fil-As in Houston IMMEDIATELY and turn them into, I don't know, California Pizza Kitchens.

Also, for the boycotters, I understand that Burger King contributes to anti-kitten charities, Subway contributes to anti-video game causes, and the Pappas chain contributes to anti-Rockets causes.

That should just about cover it...

Hmm... lots of excuse-making and equivocating going on.

Keep trying, maybe one day some of you will find a way to tap dance out of that corner!

Food is awesome (nothing like the chicken you get at BK, Wendys, or McDs). The service is also much nicer, and the stores are always clean.

    Man, that is so true!

I thought that Christians were all about making that benjamins. They could make a killing on Sundays, that's what the lord wants, to make a killing on profits on Sundays.

I'd be there to help line their pockets up.

    Waffle fries are good damnit.

i try to avoid fast food places (never eat mc d/burger king/taco bell), but chick fil-a is one of the few i can do. the restaurants are always clean, employes friendly, food quality good (for fast food), fairly priced, good sweet tea, bathrooms clean...they are a very well run business, especially by the standards of the industry they are in.

if they were a s***y fast food place it would be alot easier to say im boycotting, but they are a good place and i like their (fast) food. i disagree w/ their political agenda and the fact that they are closed on sundays is "quaint" at best and fiscally irresponsible at worst - think of all the revenue they have lost over the decades at malls on sunday, the 2nd busiest shopping day of the week.

i compromise by jamming out some rufus after eating there!

since when did "Christian Values" trump the Constitution?

there's nothing anti-Christian about pointing out that Chick Fil A sponsors groups that are specifically designed to ban gay marriage. do I have to qualify this by saying I go to church AND enjoy their sandwiches?

they opened up on Santa Monica Blvd close to the West Hollywood boundary and the roads had to be redesigned to accommodate the traffic.

there are some protestors every once in a while but that's not stopping anyone.

give money to who you want, boycott who you want.

I don't eat at Chick-Fil-A, but it's not a philosophical choice. It's good. It's just way too busy and I don't have that much time for lunch.

Mainly, I just think that examining the political and social leanings of every merchant I give my business to and weeding out the ones I don't agree with is a tremendous waste of my time.

I highly doubt you could find many, if any companies who provide the services and products we all use on a daily basis whose hands are entirely clean, and that's the point of my comments above.

If a "journalist" did just as "hard-hitting" of an investigation into just about any company who does business in this country, you could find something that somebody somewhere finds appalling. And, we'd have some people decide to boycott it. And, it would be just as pointless as any of the other number of times that people choose to boycott a company like this.

Life is too short, man. Enjoy your sandwich.
