I suggest that if the OP didn't want people to talk about politics, he should've started this in the Hangout.

Seriously. It's got to be one of the most predictable form of trolling out there. Start thread that demand some sort of solemnity or outrage or decorum or dignity etc. Wait for internets to spice it up. Watch as people retire to the Victorian fainting couch. Repeat.

    Negative

You know as well as I do, no one in the hang out would even know who he was. And the thread would have been moved here anyway.

If I wanted to get nasty I could have posted the vile vomit that he spewed after T. Kennedy died, but I'll be a better person than that and just say I hope he finds peace.

He lived a very public life. Nothing wrong with discussing that life.

Exactly my point. If you want non-D&D discussion, start a hangout thread for him, which will promptly fall to the bottom with 0 replies. If someone comes in and starts a flame-war, then promptly link them to this thread. The only reason anybody knows of him is because of his political and public life, so don't be shocked when that becomes part of his death as well. To rail against that is like trying to stop the tides, a pointless waste of time and effort.

This post is the best encapsulation of Breitbart's life's work and influence. I don't mean that as a complement to the deceased or to the poster.

Muckraker is one thing. Distortionist, fabricator, and inflamer are completely other things, negative for society by any measure.

I put that one fat liberal "documentarian" (sic) in the same pile, by the way.

Anyway, may his molecules rejoin the cosmos to more productive and peaceful ends.

I seriously doubt he died from natural causes. Still, I don't think the coroner can put the cause of death as "unnatural hate."

It's not too late for you though. Lifestyle changes can work wonders.

You just couldn't leave well enought alone. Had to add YOUR opinion/perspective.

    Go lick something, rimmy.

Breitbart also tweeted a bunch of criticism of Ted Kennedy right after Kennedy died.

    Yeeep...

It comes with the territory. If you don't want people throwing stones at you when you're dead, don't throw stones at other people when you're alive.

And if you try to stop people from doing so and get hit in the head with a rock, it's your own fault.

    Good riddance.

The guy was scum. Maybe his kids will have a better shot at being decent adults without his example to steer them down the path he took in life.

That's true. I just didn't want to follow his example.

Anyone remember when he threw a **** fit after Ted Kennedy died? Sorry I have no respect for Breitbart. The man epitomized how classless things have become in the world of politics.

EDIT: I guess I got beat on the Kennedy stuff. Regardless, as sad as it is for someone to die early, he was someone I uniquely despised for his garbage that he put out there. Still RIP and hope his family is ok.

Agreed. Hearing about a guy dying in his early 40's suddenly and unexpectedly is a tragedy. It makes me think of my own mortality.

Don't worry dude. Based on your hate and girth, you'll join your hero soon enough and then you won't be forced to keep coming back to this website over and over again.

Out of all people on Clutchfans I should be the one to say this. For someone not to believe this kind of thing has happened in the past where the government does what they have to do to shut certain people up is unbelievable. However, I'm not going to jump to conclusions and suggest this is what happened. It looks strange but I've seen stranger things happen.

Whether it did or didn't the most important thing here is his kids will grow up without a dad.

    RIP+

I'm not going to get into whether this was some sort of Karmic action but to address the idea that this was a conspiracy. 43 is very young to die suddenly but it's not unheard of and something that should give us all pause is that there are many things that could kill us unexpectedly.

A friend of mine died suddenly and unexpectedly three years ago at the age of 36. He had an embolism in his lung and it was literally one hour he is fine and a few hours later he's dead. Now he wasn't in great shape but otherwise he didn't have any other warning signs such as being morbidly obese or other poor health. I know nothing about Breitbart's lifestyle and how good shape he was in but I find it very likely that he could've died suddenly. Things like an embolism, aneurism, infection and etc.. can all kill very suddenly with little warning.

Ain't nothing "natural causes" about dying at age 43.

    Hate kills.

    Rest in peace, Mr. Breitbart.
