He is the 2nd best SG of all-time. Overrated as far as folks acting like he was the dominant player of his era, and extending what happened from 2006 on as if that were the case up until around 2005. Overrated as far as folks constantly saying "5 rings" when he was the primary option for 2 of them, and even he admits this.

Kobe is a great player and arguably one of the top 10 to ever lace them up. He he has led his team to 2 titles and a repeat, something most players haven't done. He is a great player. GOAT, 5 rings, best of the era, best Laker ever, on the same planet with Mike....negative.

I can agree with that. I am probably one of the biggest Kobe fans out there but I don't think I take him over Magic or Kareem.

Yet he was terrible for 3 1/2 games, while 1 1/2 gams were ok and 2 really good game.

He was not spectacular in that series. He was better 08-09 series and 01-02 Finals.

Moreover, my biggest point was to goodbug, when acted like Kobe has never let his team down.

    Game 1 - 30/7/6 shooting 45% great game
    Game 2 - 21/5/6 and 4 steals while shooting 40% medium game
Game 3 - 29/7/4 with 2 steals and 3 blocks shooting 34% is a bad game but still a good contribution
    Game 4 - 33/6/2 shooting 45% great game
    Game 5 - 38/5/4 shooting 48% great game
    Game 6 - 26/11/3 with 4 steals shooting 47% great game
Game 7 - 23/15/2 shooting 25% terrible game but still contributed with 15 rebounds

So by my count I've got 4 great games, 1 decent game, and two bad shooting games where he still found a way to contribute. He could have played better especially in game 7 considering his unbelievably bad shot selection but that is superstar production in the finals. He was spectacular in the series as a whole.

Apparently, Rubio thinks Kobe is the best player in the last 2 minutes of the game ONLY.

And the sun is going to come out again (not stating that we know Nobe is "the best") but how many players have said that already?
For one he is not and do we really have to take into consideration every players thoughts on who is the best?

I am the only one who's really tired of hearing all these players' random comments of who is the best?

Right here, I really don't care, It's obvious Lebron is the best player at the moment no matter how many of these threads OP posts.

1:34 left in the 1st quarter of the CHA/LAL game, and Kobe has 18 pts on 7-11. He's devouring Gerald Henderson, and outscoring the entire Bobcats team.

Could be one of those nights...

It will be one of those nights. Bobcats aren't even competitive. Game isn't worth watching. I'm switching to Sac/GS.

He is a young dude from LA.

He was 8 years old when Kobe was drafted.

    He grew up watching Kobe.

One thing I love about Kobe's game is the fact that he rarely ever flops.

(unlike pretty much all of the young stars in the league, LBJ included)

    Your turn.

EDIT: Not counting vocal flops where he screams like he has been hit and complaining to refs. Only talking about falling down as if he has been hit.

This is one of the dumbest arguments of all time in regards to anything.

Kobe's entire career has been defined by his teammates saving his a** time and time again. Derrick Fisher .4 sec shot, Gasols put back verse the thunder, Fisher verse the Magic (multiple times), Horry against the kings, Ron Artest in game 7 verse the Celtics or the outback verse the Suns in the conference finals...now try and remember a few times that another player on the Cavs knocked down a game winner or a play of that magnitude in the post season. Kobe won his championships with Shaq in his prime and then with three ridiculously talented 7 footers and Fisher and Artest carrying him to 2 more titles. Kobe has always been on a better team and Lebron has been better than him for MANY years now.
