    THINGS I WANT TO SEE

    1. Huge roster clearing trade for Dwight and Deron.

    2. One of either Parsons or Morris on the floor all 48 minutes per game.

    3. CBud backing up KMart at the 2 or starting at the 2 if we trade KMart and don't trade him.

    4. Patterson posting up and also facing up in the triple threat position at the top of the key.

    5. Twill given the ball and let run at the point when Lowry is out to find out if he can run the team.

    6. A trapping 94 foot pressuring defense from our guards 48 minutes a game. We have enough of them to do it.

    7. Plays ran for Morris in crunch time to see if he is a big time player.

    8. Hard fouls when opponents go into the paint for layups/dunks.

    9. A good zone D with Lowry/TWill/Parsons/Dally/Patterson after pressing and burning shot clock time off by pressing the point, modified box and 1 with Dally fronting in the low post

    10. Lowry/Lee/Morris/Dally/Patterson on the floor together for extended minutes if there is no trade.

THINGS I DON'T WANT TO SEE

    1. Hasheem Thabeet

    2. Jeff Adrien

    3. Lowry get a serious injury

    4. Martin flopping on defense

    5. Martin and Bud on the floor at the same time

    6. Dally or Hill posting up, dribbling the durn ball, or playing on the perimeter on offense.

    7. TWill spotting up for the 3.

    8. Dragic dribbling the shot clock down at the top

    9. Johnny Flynn

    10. Jump shots just inside the 3-pt line (worst shot in basketball)

    1. lol
    3. What about Lee?
    4. He's not big enough to play back to the basket.
    5. omg, no. Please.
    10. Would like to see more of Lee and PatPat. I've totally bought into the Pau trade. In Morey I trust.

things i want to see: twill let go, he's not worthy of even a bench player, i'd rather have wafer back to jack up shots that actually go in

twill may be a great passer, but he doesn't pass, so who gives a flip?

You may be right. I would just like it clearly defined. I'm leaning toward thinking he's never going to be good enough with the basketball in his hands, not efficient enough, to really be anything. He's obviously not going to make it on his shooting. It's got to be his playmaking and defense where he distinguishes himself.

I'd just like to know for sure. In one of these blowout games coming up, I'd like to see McHale give him the whole quarter running the point and see how he responds with some decent players on the floor that can shoot and finish.

This a terrible misconception that seems to be going around clutchfans. You do not need to be bigger than the guy guarding you to have an effective back to the basket game.

Lee? I feel like I've seen him enough to know what he is. If anything I'd like to see Lee get some run at point guard. I believe he's got some point guard in him. He's too small to be effective at the 3 except for spot minutes in a gimmick lineup. Lee is a 2. I'd like to see CBud at the 2 to see if he distinguishes himself there and could effectively replace what Martin gives us in scoring since they both have such horrible D.

If Charles Barkley, Adrian Dantley, and Mark Aguirre are big enough to post up in this league, then so is PPat. Size isn't the issue. It's post up skills. Can he post up, make the right moves, see the floor, make the passes, etc.? Is there anything more to PPat's game than just the pick and pop jump shot?

Lee is a 2 and better than Budinger.

Re Patterson: Not just height, he's not that bulky. Barkley, Z. Randolph, and Chuck Hayes were heavy guys. Patterson isn't built that way. He's lean.

I think Lee is better at this point too. I'd just like to see how Bud looks at the 2 with Parsons at the 3 (better defender) and Lowry at the 1. In other words, will Bud's effectiveness increase if he is playing in between 2 good defenders and he is playing at the SG spot where he is more likely to have a size advantage instead of a size disadvantage? I want to see how he works basically in Martin's place with a decent defending SF beside him.

Patterson is a lean mean machine. Adrian Dantley was 6'4" and weighed about 220 max.

Posting up is a skill using leverage and lowering your center of gravity. When teams play championship basketball, there is most likely at least two major post up threats in their rotation. Kobe Bryant is effectively posting up now. Lebron is trying to learn to post up.

Once again, posting up is not about size. It's a learned skill.

Size matters. A similarly skilled bigger player will be the better player. So, better hope he's that much more skilled because he's that much disadvantaged.

I'm just not seeing Patterson doing it. The thing I like Patterson, though, and the reason I think he'll be a successful player is that he knows how to position himself to get rebounds. I just see him getting points from second chances and mid-range with an occasional lay-up. But back to the basket? No.

Unrealistic, unless #1 on my list comes to pass. And then, it may be too late for the W's to mean anything this season.

I want to see a big trade.

I don't want to see the same roster after trade deadline.
