This is how you rebuild....Morey style...efficient moves that add players with upside while creating more cap flexibility ...still positioning for the kill.

Getting rid of Miller and his bloated deal is a obviously a key component.

And in 2-3 years Donatas will make this trade shine much brighter...

Flynn is going to shock some people here. Other posters have mentioned the injuries, the triangle, etc. - Flynn is a winner who has been in some tough situations. His pedigree, heart, and ability to lead an offense will serves us (or someone else) well. I also think there is an aspect to his game that is much overlooked and should be brought out here ...and that is his ability to score... Kevin knows all about JFlynn .......

DM has a consistency to his trades that has helped us navigate though the mess of Tracy and Yao and head on to a healthy rebuilding ...but we are ALWAYS poised to strike when the right opportunity comes.

Rockets trade with Minnesota was amended. Now, never did trade pick 38 and get it back. Also instead of giving up 2-rounder, Rockets get it.

Okay, so the deal was this:

Houston trades: Brad Miller, #23 pick, MEM 2013 1st rd. pick
Minnesota trades: Jonny Flynn, #20 pick, 2012 2nd rd. pick (31-55)

Nice. That MIN second rounder is like having another first round pick!

What's this Arian Nation garbage? Are you trying to say Morey's a member of the Arian Nation. That's lame.

I apologize if this has already been discussed - Does Johnny Flynn have any closer-like 1-on-1 abilities? That would be cool, if so......

    Lol, calm down mate.

First, off it's in his sig, not under the picture.

Second, anyone that knows anything about Houston football knows that "Arian Nation" is just a joke about being a supporter of Arian Foster, pro bowl texans running back.

It's not saying anyone is a part of the "Aryan Nation."

Really? I remembered Brad Miller was the backup center Morey brought in case Yao could actually play.

Name a single poster who felt Miller would take us to the promise land?
