nice. thanks for demonstrating (yet again) that you have no interest in the truth, just your own perverted narrative.
interesting only if you had democratic candidates saying things like "we came unarmed...this time" or referencing the 2nd amendment as a way to take back "our" country. to say the two sides are the same is just cuntmuppetry.
“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” -- Barack Obama, speaking in Philadelphia, June 13, 2008.
So you don't think Sarah Palin did anything wrong actually with her deal it was just bad because other people were going too far in their rhetoric?
not surprisingly, you don't get it. now i've wasted 10 minutes of my life today i will never get back.
the only time i referenced palin was asking why she would take down her use of surveryor images if that's what they were supposed to be.
I'm asking you a question. Do you personally think Palin's little image was wrong/offensive? I am interested in an honest answer. I find it of note that this woman who was shot apparently told MSNBC that Palin's list was unprecedented and seemingly beyond the pale when her own party had in fact done the exact same thing. (I'm not going to fall for Basso's link that suggests Palin didn't "intend" for them to be crosshairs lol)
yes. and i think there is a difference between the rhetoric spewed by her and other tea partiers than there are by others in the past, both republican and democrat. if palin's image was used in 2004 by the rnc, i would have no problem with it.
So you think the imagery of weapon crosshairs is actually fine, it's just that considering the times (just a few years after the Dems did it) it goes from "no problem to being inflammatory? I think that's a bit convenient don't you?
no, i don't. i'm sure it's been used before by republicans too, but due to the lowered rhetoric level, no one ever noticed. and if the democrats did it today, i'd have a problem with it as well. if you don't think the anger and vitriol in this country, especially from those on the right, hasn't increased in the last two years, you haven't been paying attention.
agree to disagree on what? you either don't believe the vitriol is higher or you're calling me a liar.
I don't agree that a politician's choice of a cliche image should be criticized because the "vitriol is higher."
I prefer the Leupold duplex. anyone know when the services for the victims will be. Would like to watch it. Wonder if Obama will attend.
