Wow, you're really relentless. Take a step back, you are more mature than this. I know you have also been a victim of insults on this board plenty of times. I would think you would know better.

No, they will just continue buying players. That's what they've been doing so far, and that's what they're going to do.

I can't understand why you've taken offense to this.

There are a few hundred thousand of them, and they are young, and they are flying into the best universities.

Unless you believe that there is some genetic predisposition to success in academia, I don't see how this is too different. I imagine it would be the case for any small country with unlimited cash and lots of room to learn.

Liar Mathloom, can you please back up your statement that "a few hundred thousand" people from Qatar are "flying into the best universities". I am also wondering how a country with about a million people sends "a few hundred thousand" people to the "best universities".

I attended some of the best universities. I did not see anyone from Qatar.

Fortunately, nobody (from Qatar or elsewhere) "flew into the university" either.

Can you also please answer who will actually be building the stadiums that the fans of the Qatar world cup like to brag about?

Arn't you in your mid-40's? Whats up with the name calling, sorry just sounds very childish. Also your argument that you attended some of the best universities and didn't meet anyone from Qatar is absolutely ridiculous as evidence. These top schools charge top $$$ fees for international students, therefore it makes it a lot easier for these students to get in (as the requirements are usually less competitive). With the governments subsidizing the expenses its not to hard to imagine many A-rabs going to these schools.

Whats up with the "flew into the university" joke? Not funny at all, you keep making yourself sound like an old grumpy bitter man. You spend way too much time on this forum writing up about Mauslims, seriously if you have family, spend more time with them, it seems like you have some issues in real life.

    Fortunately not quite yet.

Maybe you should direct your complaints to liar Mathloom, who repeatedly called me a liar first, for something that I never said, but that he invented.

More ridiculous than saying that a country with roughly one million inhabitants sends "hundreds of thousands of students to the best universities"?

Sure. But not hundreds of thousands from a country with one million inhabitants. That's what I am responding to, someone obviously going over the top a bit in his efforts to brag (I know liar Mathloom is not from Qatar, but he is obviously still trying to brag). When I was in business school, there were a few Arabs there (two from Lebanon and one whom I actually don't remember exactly where he was from) and sure, they had money, but they were also qualified academically. That's still also a requirement...

I did not choose those words, Mathloom did.

You make it sound like you've accomplished a lot in your life, which is great. But you surely don't act like someone who's matured in life. To be honest I could care less about the name calling, I was just questioning your character (as you are the #1 Mauslim hater on this board  )

LOL, he says something silly, so you feel compelled to match the stupidity?

LOL it just makes you sound jealous!? Who cares if he brags about how good they have it with all that oil money.

Again these little things that you bicker about, makes it sound like you've got some serious issues.

    This doesn't seem right --

FIFA President: Gay Fans 'Should Refrain From Any Sexual Activities' During 2022 World Cup In Qatar

OHANNESBURG — FIFA President Sepp Blatter insisted Monday that the votes to award World Cups to Russia and Qatar were based on developing soccer and had nothing to do with money.

He also noted that the world's biggest soccer tournament will have to adjust to more than just the sweltering desert heat when it takes its party-like atmosphere to the Middle East in 2022.

Blatter said that homosexual fans "should refrain from any sexual activities" that are illegal in Qatar.

Drinking alcohol also is restricted in the country, but Blatter hopes soccer's universal appeal will bridge cultural differences at the 2022 World Cup.

"It's another culture and another religion, but in football we have no boundaries," said Blatter, who was in South Africa for the official closing of the 2010 World Cup. "We open everything to everybody and I think there shall not be any discrimination against any human beings, being on this side or that side, left or right or whatever.

"Football is a game that does not affect any discrimination. You may be assured ... if people want to watch a match in Qatar in 2022, they will be admitted to matches."

    And it begins...

Aside from the fact that Blatter is a corrupt old *******, this world cup will bring to light some of the issues which are part of the unavoidable culture clash. The leftists will at some point realize what they have been supporting all along in their misguided eagerness to be "tolerant". Tolerant with intolerance...

Geez people love to b*tch about everything...come on people...let's be more "tolerant" with the customs in Qatar! It's alright as long as straight people get treated in a back-asswards manner as well!

Come on, he departed in good health...let's not b**** about this...it could be considered "islamophobic"!

I had written a long response to this post but I lost it all by hitting the back button by accident  Anyway the jist of it was that socities evolve at different rates, forcing other to change doesn't help (rather it can further entrench these backward ideals). There is a time and place for that stuff anyway, the WC is about competition and fun, keeping your mouth out of some woman/dudes face is not that hard to do, respect the custom even if it is backward, it'll just show how tolerant people from these evolved countries are, but to b*tch and groan just seems like a bad case of a superiority complex.

Look at this story from South Africa, where the World Cup was just held: We ALL have issues.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...ected-to-corrective-rape-in-South-Africa.html

Lesbians subjected to "corrective rape" in South Africa

Lesbians living in South Africa are being subjected to "corrective rape" and severe violence by men trying to "cure" them of their sexual orientation, human rights groups have said.

A report by the international NGO ActionAid, backed by the South African Human Rights Commission, said the horrific crimes against lesbians were going unrecognised by the state and unpunished by the legal system.

The report called for South Africa's criminal justice system to recognise the rapes as hate crimes in an attempt to force police to take action over the rising tide of violence.

The ferocity of the attack became clear in April last year when Eudy Simelane, former star of South Africa's national female football squad, became one of the victims. Miss Simelane, and equality rights campaigner and one of the first women to live openly as a lesbian, was gang-raped and brutally beaten before being stabbed 25 times in the face, chest and legs.
