LOL! No, I have stepkids...but I dont consider them as steps...I hated that term when I was one, so I don't use it when referring to my kids.
My eating isn't the problem. It is my lack of exercise. I had a very serious back injury about 10 years ago and I was really unable to walk for nearly a year. As a result, my metabolism slowed and I gained a lot of weight. I was always a very thin kid. I had a hard time breaking 160 at 6 feet tall! I never had to exercise to stay fit and when I did it was easy because my metabolism was high and I was thin. It's harder now to do it but I know it is the only way to get thinner. I just never gained the discipline to exercise. I did it for fun (played basketball, rode my bike, etc) but it's not as fun when you are overweight and out of shape.
