esteban, appreciate your service even if we disagree about some facts and approaches.

I would just say this, and I hope you hear me: the ones using "Mesiah" are his critics. I have a lot of problems with Obama, and I lean democrat. A lot of us have criticisms that you would share. We also see some things he does that we think are good. I know his poop stinks terribly, and he makes mistakes. Just because I think he's smart and pragmatic doesn't mean I think he is beyond criticism.

    Cheers.

First - the thread was moved here after people on both sides couldn't contain their partisan rhetoric. Starting with you, actually.

Second - nice to see you continue your trend of taking the higher ground.

Third - this tragedy doesn't have anything to do with Obama, Fatty or Basso. And this thread, and the responses by those people and yourself, has more to do with egos than it does with the tragedy in Killeen.

Forth - taking the higher ground does not mean throwing rocks at those below once you get there.

Continue with your "debate". I'm out of this one. I've never seen a more useless piece of crap as what this thread has turned into. Fatty thinks it is all about him. Basso is trying to prove a point, but doesn't know what it is yet. BigTex wants to spread around his "brahness" by taking pop-shots at Obama. Go back and read this thread, then take a look in the mirror, then come back and reply to my comments; preferably in a respectful manner if you would like a reply.

First, if you're referring to this thread, no it wasn't, and it remains. This thread was started here, and remains here.

    yawn....

The tragedy doesn't, but the thread does. Two different things.

    so? yawn....

Dude, I've seen many more useless pieces of crap around. it's the internet.

My question to you is what would make it an appropriate thread and why? Nothing we do here is that important ultimately and makes even a modicum of difference with respect to the tragedy.

Honestly some of those "RIP" and "+" posts strike me as even more insulting in their absurd token-ness and trivial ceremoniality/cursory sincerity than a basso dung pile or a fatty fat "look at me!" post.

At least you spelled "brah" right, I guess. Otherwise, that is very full of win... for those of us who love you.

    Bitter?

Naw. Just hot under the collar.

I'm an old man (ex. army) trying to understand how anyone can doubt esteban when he says he's ex military. Then question his patriotism.

You guys might be exercising his your personal freedoms, free speech and all, but get off the backs that served this country.

one person doubted him and that was only in response to his saying he would jump ship if he were still a soldier. that's not very patriotic, wouldn't you agree?

does a true patriot disrespect the commander-in-chief and easily quit?

what you think about the GOP's swift-boating of John Kerry?
