Honestly. I just don't see the Raiders as a serious team. I am giving this one to the Texans 24 - 9 Rocket River I thought JaMarcus could become a contender I am kind of losing patience
They don't need to be a serious team. As long as they have a RB, they should be favored. If they decided to line up with an empty backfield, I'd say maybe, but they probably won't do that. I don't know who will win as I'm done hoping with this team, but I will predict McFadden will have over 100 yds and at least one TD. Jamarcus will probably rush for about 30+ as well. This is one of those times that I'd love to be wrong, but won't hold my breath.
I want to say load up the box and stop the run at all costs....make Jamarcus beat us. But sadly, knowing our sloppy secondary, they just might make Jamarcus look like a pro bowl qb out there. Its almost a lose lose situation. I would much rather see the Texans do something about the stopping the run game for Oakland. That will be the first thing they need to do from here on out.
We cannot lose this one......Give Slaton good touches early and get Andre involved on play actions. And D please stop the run!!!!
Asomugha vs. Johnson By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer Thursday, October 1st, 2009 at 8:09 am in Oakland Raiders. Nice article here about 2 guys who are arguably the best at their positions, but are anything but trash-talkers and divas like most WR/CBs.
If the Texans D can't stop JaMarcus Russell, then there is ZERO hope for this team. I think the Raiders could be a .500 team with Garcia, but they are the worst organization going right now.

6 points?? How on Earth can you possibly think this offense is going to score 6 points? Even if they CAN'T get the ball to AJ, they still have other weapons on this team. Owen Daniels, Kevin Walter, and Jacoby Jones have ALL scored touchdowns this season. And we've had no problem moving the ball up and down the field. The only problem is stopping the other team from doing the same.
Hey moe ... question ... Do they relegate Asomuga to just one side of the field? I caught bits of the game last week on the RedZone channel and it looked like on more than one play he wasn't covering Marshall, who I assumed they'd have him locked on just like they would Andre Johnson this week. I guess it just depends on the package and play call, but if that's the case it seems like we should just put Dre in motion or line him up in different places to avoid Nnamdi.
They really tend to just stick him on one side of the field for the most part, but every once in a while to mix it up he does some shadowing. Marshall roamed around, and Asomugha was mostly on Royal... who had 1 catch for 4 yards. Crazy ol' Al swears by man coverage, so they will play Man until the Raiders are giving up 60 points a game or Al finally keels over. Here's hoping for the last one.
I feel for the Raiders fans. they are pretty loyal even though they really are horrible. I wonder if they got Crabtree if he would have held out? Did they draft Heyward bey because they knew this or because they were stupid?
Heyward-Bey ran the 4.3 40, thats the only reason. So far through 3 games he has 1 more catch than Crabtree. Al is so ****ing predictable, and insane.... the spread like wild-fire throughout all the mock drafts about 48 hours prior to the draft, suddenly everyone knew that DHB was going to be the pick and it seemed like by friday night 75% of mock drafts had him going 7th. Just ridiculous, I feel bad for the kid because he's a good kid by all accounts, but even if he was doing well out there on the field, I seriously doubt Jamarcus would be getting him the ball anyway.
Maybe DHB will turn out to be Devin Hester. This game will be interesting. So far, all the Texans games have been pretty interesting and not boring.
