and we know Batfink is part of the 22%. Eighty-eight percent (88%) of Republicans reject the notion that most of the opponents are racist. So do 78% of voters not affiliated with either major party. However, just 39% of Democrats share that view. Twenty-two percent (22%) of those in the president’s party say that most of the opposition to his plan comes from racists, and another 39% are not sure.

I have no doubt that a certain percent of those opposing Obama's health care plans are racist but I don't think focussing on that charge has been particularly helpful to advancing the issue.
amazing...2 out of the first 7 responses actually said something about the post...the other 5 just attacked the OP.
FYI, lefties always attack the messenger, but I think you know that already, this God forsaken forum is getting lamer by the minute!
So even 12% of the GOP acknowledge that most of the opposition is due to racism. So 22% of independents see most of the opposition as being due to racism [/QUOTE] The same as independents. The GOP does deserve credit that 12% of its members realize the racism involved in the opposition. Maybe BAsso can eventually come to join the 12% of Republicans who realize this.
We have no real figures as to what it costs We have no idea how hard it will be to set up We have 1000 pages and tons details that even congressman know nothing about We have no idea how many people will actually use it We have no idea how exactly to pay for it Yeah, opponents of the bill are against it because the president is black... It isn't as if any congressman are going to vote based on what their constituents think anyway... We need to improve the system big time...but not like this
Riddle me this, Blake: If there are legit complaints, why does the GOP insist on making up stupid **** like 'this plan will kill your grandma?'
