That was a real good win. I thought if Missouri would win it would be a shootout. The defense was on Illinois the whole game. I'm not an Illinois fan I just took them on my ticket lol.
The Big 12 teams looked very solid yesterday. Baylor & Mizzou will be ranked by the time Texas plays them and OSU will be undefeated when we head into stillwater. OU will drop out of the top 25 when they lose to Miami. Strength of schedule doesn't worry me. USC will lose. No freshman QB is going undefeated. Cal, ND or OR St should do it.
It's crazy how the loss of another team can affect another team's chances of winning the NC. How ridiculous.
I love how people are throwing out the idea of 3 BCS conference teams going undefeated like it is almost assuredly going to happen. It has only happened ONCE! If Texas goes undefeated, I would be willing to bet anyone $1000 that the 'Horns will be playing in Pasadena. 1. If Texas is undefeated, odds are very good the Colt will have the heisman. The powers that be will want him in the championship. 2. All of the early sportswriters are predicting a Florida-Texas championship, so they will want to make their early predictions look accurate and will keep both of them in the 1-2 slots. 3. I do not think the voters will want to screw Texas again after all the scrutiny they received last year. 4. The only team with a high enough preseason ranking to jump a #2 would be USC. Their strength of schedule will be very close to Texas's, and certainly not enough to warrant a flipping of the two. 5. Big XII vs. SEC But most importantly... it is the FIRST week of the season! It really is way to early to be talking about all of this. We don't know how good any of these teams are yet, because only 'Bama and Oklahoma State beat opponents worth anything.
Fine, I'll bite. What have employees or actual representatives of OU done to make you think otherwise?
Again, who is cheering the fact that Bradford is hurt? All I see are posters who are cheering for Oklahoma's loss to BYU (and some UT fans who aren't, because of SOS). Even if Bradford didn't get hurt, there's no guarantee OU wins.
Let's not forget current freshman DE Justin Chaisson who kidnapped and assaulted his highschool girlfriend.
I was at a viewing party at an establishment that had the longhorn game PPV because my friend is a longhorn alum so I went with him. When they flashed on the screen that bradford was hurt and out of the game, the entire place erupted in cheers. Stay Classy UT fans. I will give credit, my friend who actually is a UT graduate (not a t-shirt fan) yelled out loud for them to shut up when they were cheering the injury.
No one is happy about Bradford's injury. We're just happy about the OU loss. by the way... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!
While most college coaches would have pulled the scholarship, Stoops did not. Let's not also forget Dusty Dvorckek who during a roid rage episode went Albert Puljos on his best friends head. He was given a medical redshirt as punishment.
It's also why I actually watch the college game instead of the pro game, though give being a UT alum doesn't hurt things
Even if that's true, all of the above, coupled with the Big Reg Auto scam from about 3 years ago, certainly says to me that OU is, at the least, not "a classy organization". That was the assertion that surprised me.
Am I really seeing UT fans crowing about other schools players' problems with the law? BWWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA pot meet kettle
