I believe you're making a incorrect assumption. I would suspect that a small minority of people who identify as Christians believe in young earth creationism. Offhand I can't think of any major denominations that believe in it.

This poll says nothing about dinosaurs, so I'm not sure how it fits into this discussion. I'm sure that most Christians who believe in Biblical creationism believe that dinosaurs existed during the millions of years before man appeared on earth. In other words, most Christian creationists in the 21st century are old earth creationists.

Maybe you should look at the poll again.

It indicates pretty plainly that most Christian creationists in the 21st century believe that God created the Earth within the last 10,000 years.

 

"Humans", not "the Earth".

 

I hope this show is on youtube because I've got to watch it again.

 

Unless there’s something I’m missing I see that poll talking about human development, not dinosaurs or the earth.
