Sometimes I will, sometimes I won't. I'm moody like that. But your right, it's not really necessary, even to defend the truth. Just do it when you want to kill some time. That's all this is about.
Sorry to make it more difficult. I mostly don't respond to bigtexxx or TJ. basso throws such softballs out there, it's hard to resist swinging for the fences on those. I know there are some other well reasoned conservatives on the board, that I enjoy talking with. But a lot of the time they are the only ones around here to engage with from the opposite side. Plus it's fun to watch Sam Fisher go to work on some of the stuff baso posts. His best stuff is playing off the crap they put into threads.
I'm not going to vote. If someone you consider is a troll you can put them on ignore or just not bother to read a thread that they post in. Also as others have noted "troll" is in the eye of the beholder.
Most of the time. Also since they don't pretend to be serious refuting them is fun if it leads to more laughs or if they are blatantly racist or whatever.
sometimes it's hard for me to tell who the trolls are. I guess it depends on perspecitve and since I'm neither a liberal or conservative I have a hard time when a good portion of what is posted could be considered trolling from the other side.

You have been busted being racist, and I've reposted the proof in your posts numerous times. Most of the time your posts are so overtly silly, that it's fun to just watch and not respond. But your comments in the airline imams thread was overtly racist. You tried to respond and I pointed out the logical flaws in your response. There is nothing more that needs to be said on it.

I like the absurdist farce that can ensue when two trolls from opposite sides go at it. Usually there is an underlying wink and a nudge within the context of the posts that is enjoyable. I do not like it when trolls derail an otherwise good topic or draw the always following crusaders who are out to prove the trolls wrong. That, of course, is impossible. I will engage trolls from all sides but not frequently and not with anything close to seriousness.
