of course it would be. clinton and then the republicans tried to taint obama with Wright and the media played along. notice there wasn't a lot of mainstream talk in the media about the weirdness going on at palin's church. if the media would've focused as much attention on palin's place of worship (and i'm not taking a position that they should have), then this story would've been a lot bigger. but the media never ever talks about democratic scandals at all. the only way i heard about blagojevich was because of the right-wing posters on this site. cnn, msnbc, or abc haven't said one thing about it.
First, this is obviously a despicable act by whoever committed it. Secondly, this story isn't getting the national run you want, basso, because Sarah Palin's 15 minutes of fame have already expired. You'll have to deal with that. It's not getting national run because it's not a national story of interest, simple. Right now it's simply a local story about arson in an Alaskan church, and that's it.
exactly and lastly, I love how guys like bigtexxx and basso act like the coverage of trinity was positive, as if the media tried to help obama by the constant barrage of wright reporting. these guys revise history after six months
uhmm, there was no MSM reporting of trinity, except perhaps for Fox. The times only reported on the "controversy" - and then mostly on its oped page, not the news section - w/out ever explaining what the "controversy" was about. we're not the ones rewriting history.

I randomly picked three stories and all three included an explanation of the controversy. basso, being so consistently, stupendously wrong must be exhausting.

yes, i've done the same search- see how many of those are opeds, and from the blog section, as opposed to the news section? and then, of the latter, take a look at the articles- they're not reporting on Wight's remarks in an of themselves. they're only mentioning them in the context of what Obama's relationship with wright- quite a difference in emphasis.
