    2008-2009 ClutchFans Fantasy League Page

    Positions are determined by the ESPN Player Profiles.

    Here is the lineup/scoring system:

    12 active players per roster. 1 IR spot for an injured player.

    5 starters (C/PF/SF/SG/G) and 3 flex players per game.

    Scoring Rules:

    Points 1
    Assists 2
    Rebounds 2
    Steals 2
    Blocks 2
    Three Pointers Made 1
    Turnovers -1
    Technical Fouls -3

    Regarding the playoffs, since there is always the real problem of teams sitting players at the end of the season for the playoffs, we will bump our semi's and playoff up 1 week (eliminating the final real game or two).

    Since it's all about smack from here on out, I'm posting readdressing this issue here:

    I believe we have resolved the issue by limiting the starter max to 1 and creating a UT position for the utility spots in our weekly lineups. I tested it by trying to set an illegal lineup and got an error, so it works.

    I suggest everyone reset their lineups using the UT position designation. If someone spots an illegal lineup, speak up.

    One note for the newbies (and vets that forgot) regarding the 13th roster spot. The 13th roster spot is to be used only to pick up an injured player that you want to put on the IR. It cannot be used to pick up a 13th healthy player.

    Injured players are denoted by a red dot next to their name.
    Healthy players have a green dot next to their name.

    What happens when your injured player becomes healthy? Is your 13th player automatically dropped when the red dot changes green?

    Not automatically. A player will need to be dropped to keep the roster legal (12 active players).

    He isn't hurt; just inactive. Had I known that, I would have done that instead of waiving him.

    I wasn't sure why you didn't put him on IR. I just figured he didn't have the red dot at the time you waived him. I believe we've done this before (ie. the Battle at the Palace suspensions). I know we didn't use it during the draft when guys weren't signed to any team (ie. Webber last year). I'll be happy to drop someone else and activate him if need be.

    I thought about putting him on IR, but didn't because of this post:

    He is a healthy player, so I naturally assumed it would not be allowed.

    I completely understand the assumption, which is why I made it a point to clear up any confusion by continuing that same post stating:

    I think it's pretty cut and dry, but if anyone feels it is misleading, please feel free to speak up.
